I was a winner!!
by morty ini made our local news yesterday morning...to my surprise, i won the christmas give away, live on t.v.. i was so surprised..they drew my name and i had 10 mins to call in and answer their skill testing question.

My story
by ChimChim ini was never baptised because i was to young, i was in it until i was 5 years old.
but it ruined my life and still is because my dad, nanny, grandfather, my step nanny, my aunt and uncle...all on my dads side of the family are still in it, so i get lectured alot about things that have to do with the "truth" or i hear him talking about and all i think it, "what a bunch of garbage.
he never really yells at me, i don't think he can because he barely ever see's me, i try to avoid going there as much as possible.

Just this title is stoopid ...unemployment is high regrardless of what religion a person has left.Or in...Also perhaps,many people who left the jw's don't want to be a cleaner.Many didn't have a chance to get a good education,because they put selling the WTS products first.
I also want to mention,I'm not putting people down,who have cleaning jobs.I was once a cleaner.
Gessssh,I'm in a sarcastic mood today,what shall I do with myself?
Since leaving the JW's many exJW's have worked hard to better themselves - embracing capitalism and materialism and are now independently wealthy.
So true SF, my life is better than it has ever been..I was poooooor as a JW.(So I want stuff....I have a car,nice belonging..clothes...that wasn't possible when I was a JW)

I don't know how active ,devoted ,Jw's have time to post here...all that reading and work and some in school.Well,I guess now we don't have all that rubbish WTS crap to read,us apostate have time to post around our busy lives.
Oh,my hubby is self employed and I help him with work.I'm a mom of 3 and one child has autism.I cook,clean.....I also have time to enjoy my life and this is part of it.

does it have any relevance to you now?.
i live in nz and it doesn't feel like xmas to me cause it's the middle of summer - it just doesn't compute so that helps really all in all.

am not sure if you can completely blame the religion for his behaviour.
I think it is just "him", some men are not able to interact with children - they think that they need to be "the boss" without arguing - if so they get furious.That is so true about him.I don't really want to say too much about him while he cannot speak up for himself.While I'm not really going to trash him ither,but he grew up in a violent home and a father who didnot show any attention to his kids.When he did,it was violent.I'm not defending her father because he is a grown man and the choices are his;they grew up in a disfuctional off and on JW home.
I always felt so sad for my daughter,and her anger was always directed to me,I was the one closest to her,so she vented on me.She was and still is a child,so she is unable to control herself the right way.
