I don't really have a local...I just go where my feet carry me.
I do irish dancing once a week tho,I do consider that a social thing as well.
you know..where you go to relax, meet your mates, have a few bevvies.
everyone needs a local.
ex-jw's especially need a local to meet new people and get a new social perspective!.

any one in here who was raised as a jw ever have a problem with bed wetting growing up?
Back again.....
I had my bladder stretched and I took medication to wake myself up when I had the urge to pee.Didn't last long.
I do have kidney problems tho..but I'm sure this has nothing to do with me wetting myself.

I wasn't raised a JW but I was a bedwetter and my children do as well.No biggie, something that most people grow out of once their horomones kick in.For adults who still wet the bed, there is a nasal spray with some sort of hormones they are lacking in their kidneys for them to hold their urine while they sleep.
...so said my mother when she asked me to read the latest watchtower on "the apostates".
she said that because i learned "jehovah" was god's name and because "the organization taught" me this, i should, out of loyalty stay in the organization.
i did not want to get into the "jehovah" name thing but i said in return that if she strongly felt this way, then she should have remained a catholic.
I guess the WTS should be all nice and loyal to the catholic Monk who was the original founder of the name Jehovah.
this is my first post and i just wanted to say hi.
i have been a long time lurker (confession time) and decided to finally take the big step.. not much to say for now, but i would like to say thanks for all of your sharing.
i've learned so much.. please read my profile for more information.. .
I suppose I should give her a call and ask...
