corpus christi, texas (ap) -- police asked local tv stations to air a surveillance video showing a homeless man who was set ablaze flailing his arms and running in a circle as he tried to extinguish the flames.. police were looking for up to eight men who participated in the attack outside an agency that helps the homeless.

Sad News...
by Sentinel inmy mom had her valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery today.
the operation lasted five hours, and they had just gotten her to her room at 8:00pm when she went into cardiac arrest.
the doctor tried everything, even opening up her chest and massaging her heart.

can't get over how good the new jet album get born is...there's a definate t-rex resurrection revival going on here....with a little ac/dc thrown in for good measure ..its awesome...some amazing acoustic guitar based guitar ballads too- a real ecclectic mix that hangs really well together..got to have the headphones on though as its got to be loud..now all i have to do is hope they get better before glastonbury.

Another bird owner here,6 budgies here and 3 cockatiels.Love them,they are great to own.

Zoe is 6 today!!
