  I didn't realize it was like that when I first started to study,but after I was in and brainwashed,I knew somewhat ,how controlling the men were.I used to hate listening to talks and weddings.I knew I would never get married into that religion.

  Also it wasn't until I was out and read some of the stories on slient lambs,that I really knew how bad it was.

  i didn't go to the district convention this year.

  my mom however did and she sends out a daily text email every day.

  she asked all members of the email group to share their favorite part of the convention.

  Back in the early 90's I have heard the same thing,and the treatment was just the opposite.

  They may say something once,then that is it....just to make their conscience ,guilty free.

  Have to add tho,there are some honest hearted ones,who really do want "us" to come back,but it never seems to last long.
