If I was asked those questions,I would tell them I left because I chose to believe what my consceince permits me too.I don't live by JW rules, and I answer to no man regarding my spirtual beliefs. Have a nice day.

If a Witness speaks about your exit to you, does this happen to you too?
by free2beme ini have been out of the religion a long time and do not make public the fact that i was one, to the general people in my life.
mainly as, it is not something i feel is necessary to understand me and i also do not like the odd conversations that seem to come from it.
the other day, a person from work, whom i did not know was a witness.

10,000 steps a day .....................are you kidding ???
by vitty ini have read to get your exercise quoter in for the day you should be walking at least 10,000 steps per day.................yikes.
ive just taken the dog for his usual 30 minute walk and on average i clocked up about 500 steps per 5 mins...............it wasnt very acurate cos he kept stopping and starting...................but that s only about 3,000 steps per 30 minute walk.. as im not very active ( spend too much time on here) where do i get my other 7,000 steps in ?
i would have to be walking round all day.

If your cat is an indoor kitty,I wouldn't worry too much about it. I wouldn't want my cat too close to my face, after it chewed on a mouse or bird.
I say that because I would be more worried about what the bird or mouse was carrying.I have 2 cats and they are in door kitties! -

Let's All Welcome Veradico!!!
by onesong inhe's a good friend of mine who will have plenty to add here.
(he's written volumes on the dubs) having recently attained some much needed freedom he was able to join the forum.. he may be a little hesitant to come forth at first, but with a little coaxing...he's got a good "coming out of the org.

Say hello to my brother
by solo ini'd like to say hello to my brother, he's going to be lurking here tonight.. i've been encouraging him to find out about the history of jws and he's been on the internet finding out a few things.
he is as shocked as i was when i found out things about a religion we were brought up in.
he left a little before me in 1986 i think but unlike me wasn't baptized so his exit was a bit different to mine.. we've been chatting on the fone tonight about how different we might have been if it were not for our upbringing.
