  did any of you do something really naughty and forbidden after you left the wts?

  i waited almost 6 months, then realized i could smoke because there wasn't anyone to tell me what i can and can't do, so if i wanted to, i could smoke......so i did.

  it wasn't long until i began to regret doing that.

  Should I DA myself or not?

  this is my first post, some of you have read my hubby's story - agent smith - anyway i was just wondering if i should write a letter to disassociate myself or just leave things as they are.

  i have not been to meetings for about 8yrs but have only just come to realize what a load of rubbish the jw's teach.

  now that i have read "crisis of conscience" i have no doubt that jw's are corrupt.

  ok so i am a ex-witness,(disfellowshiped) i have posted here before...but i must say why have'nt we moved on?

  come on i mean if we all really thought that the jw sect was just that then why are we not trying to forget it and let life go on as it has; and try to be true to ourselves and our neighbor and read jesus words as recorded in the bible?

  i have been reading my bible on lunch breaks at my work, as well as reading in the dhammapada.

  I have moved on long ago,I like to keep up on the WTS,never know someone close to me might get involved.I have mentioned this before,but I have some close people who have left and if that time ever comes....I'm going to discuss what I know about this cult with them,I am quite sure they still believe its truth.*cough*

  If we all left,there wouldn't be much of a site,also there are some smarties and good hearted people here that contribute to this site and I feel its helpful for the newbies to have them here.

  MY SON WAS ATTACKED!

  yesterday afternoon my older son, karl, who is studying musical production at brighton university, came round to see his family.

  he had just been to see his pregnant girlfriend, who is staying with her mum and dad for a week.. karl is a wonderful boy; the type of son any parent would be proud of.

  he is loving, considerate, respectful and has never once caused any trouble or been in any.
