  Eldersystem an error ?

  inn a tread down i see a very intrestring debatt about who this system was put in charge, and that it was r,f who was the creator.. i have very clear memory of when this system come and who we handel it.. we have to sitt and was sopposed to tell each other what was our good points, and what wrong we have, some brothers was wery hurt by this examination .. my expirense is that this is not a good system you dont have to read long on this site to find that terribel abuse have been done in the name of elder system.. perhaps this man who put this sytem in charge, was not from jehova, i think the issu is very well described of the sign down on this site.. it could bee intresting to hear what you here think of this, is the elder system an erreor?.

  and what responsibility they have the creator or the creators?.

  Yes,its an error.Its a mans system,they way I look at it.Its way too judgemental.Do they really think they have God's Spirit directing them..they have wronged so many people and "misjudged" people.Its clear a s a bell...God isnot directing these men.If God spirt was directing these men,I think God would make sure they Got the message clear.God doesnot mumble...

  Why do JW's allow wedding rings?

  recently we had a post where a non-jw asked what to expect at his jw's wedding.

  he was told not to expect certain things that have a pagan background such as rice-tossing or the bride throwing a corset to the virgins unmarried girls at the reception.. but somehow wedding rings are allowed at jw weddings!.

  any idea why?.

  Were You Ever A "Cause Finder"?

  i knew an elder that used to have a favorite term for ones that he felt were always stirring up things.

  he called them "cause finders".

  anytime a new issue could be made about something, they were there.

  No,I would not have got along with him.These"cause finders" sound like the real christians there.

  I guess I would of been labled one of those people.I'm the type of person who wants to help others and be there as much as I can for a person.

  Nothing wrong with finding a cause to help people.If I see someone down,the best thing to do is build them up.The worst is to enore people who need help.

  I never saw the ones who were in good standing..really reaching out to anyone.What is wrong with chairty and helping people...messed up huh?

  there was an elder at our hall ,when he would call on someone , he would help the brother with the mic to find the person.

  he did this by saying: " sister little in the front"....hehehhe ,, of course being bored to death, this always cracked several us of rowdy back seat sitters up.. here are more examples from our old hall.

  Well,I remember when book study was over and the MS was having a long winded prayer.I was tired and wanted to go home.I was playing with the top of my pen and it flew arcoss the room.Hitting the MS in the leg.I was very embarressed but he was one of those down to earth MS,he laughed about it..I was just thankful it wasn't one of those stuffy elders.

  What got me...was "obey" your husbands....I'd snicker and scowle at the same time.Dog's obey...wives and husbands go 50 - 50.

  Women disfellowshipped for being raped? Don't know. Again, gsark, how many?

  I didn't read the whole thread.....but I was forced to have sex with an idiot.He was a non Jw,but I went to the elders for comfort....it turned out to be my fault because I didn't fight and scream enough.What ever...I had to go home and ask for forgiveness.

  (i know i already mentioned this on another thread but...the GB and what the elders are taught are F-ed UP!!!!)
