  my history,.

  47 years doing the jw thing from the age of 3.. many good times and many times i thought i was worthless especially as a teenager.

  couldn't be good enough to please some elders.

  DA'd byself back in the early 90's.Wanted them out of my life!I knew if I did that they wouldn't be bothering me any more.

  I didn't have the skills and any knowledge of the BS,so I wouldn't be able to tell em to stick it and not have a bad reaction to them.

  as a wee damselfly in the late 70's/early 80's i loved the smurfs!

  i watched the show and had the coloring book and the little plastic figures.

  then some jw kid had a nightmare, it was taken as demonism and my smurfs were taken away!

  Shera I never heard about the cabbage patch kids. What was the reason behind that I wonder?

  The story I heard,was the children were treating them too much like human babies and this was causing the dolls to become demonized.

  Did I miss the grammar test required for this site?

  i think i might of missed a possible grammar test for this site.

  i used an obscure word awfulize in a previous post and people are still debating about the word.

  didn't realize it would cause such a stir.

  I did snicker at the word,but making a deal outta it is silly.Who cares...

  Why sillize over a made up word like awfulize. Why sweat the small stuff?

  for those of yall that didn't know, kristi was a 37-yr-old ms patient that i took care of for the last year of her life.

  she had a wonderful ribald sense of humor and talked like a sailor at times.

  but it was all to cover up the ultra-sweet and tender heart she had.

  Hehehe,I didn't gorw up in the JW's,so I didn't miss out on that stuff,thankfully.

  Live it up everyone and heal that soul that missed out on the harmless stuff.

  I rememeber when I was a JW,kids couldn't watch teenage mutan turtles,and the smurfs came up enough.,no cabbage patch dolls....no Aladdin,even tho alot of jw did watch that disney movie.

  Geshhh,even when I was a child,I had dreams about my toys,dolls and if I did grow in it,every toy would have been taken away.LOL!

  We used to have goldfish as well,but when we bought other types,they couldn't share tanks.

  I just put the goldifsh in another small tanks and kept changing the water every few days,no way was I going to kill the fish.Its LIFE,gave it to a lady who has a pond in her back yard.What a happy lil fish he was when he was set free in there.

  What kind of bird if this?

  a friend of mine cat,hurt this lil bird today and he brought him over too see if i can help the lil baby.

  poor thing,he will probley die but i would like to give him a chance.cat bites are deadly because their saliva is poisonous to birds.so hopefully the cat didn't break the skin.

  just hope the bird isn't suffering too much and perhaps i'll call a bird vet to see if they can take him... .
