  Sometimes Being Pregnant Sucks! (The looking for sympathy thread)

  i am 32 weeks pregnant and it is 3:30 in the morning and i can;t sleep because no matter what position i am in, either my back hurts or my legs go numb.

  i have heartburn raging like a wild beast with seven horns upon its head.

  my fingers look and feel like sausages, my feet are burning up and two sizes bigger than normal and i still have 8 weeks to go.

  i was born into a violent abusive JW family

  the abuser was my father, we were all (7 children) abused severely (including our mother) as a child i did not understand what exactly was going on but after many years of councelling and so-forth (my counceller tells me, my case is the most severe she has had in her 12 years as a counceller) i discovered that my father was (is) a sado-masichist.

  he got sexual enjoyment from beating us all.

  i already knew this to an extent i just never realised there was actually a name for what he got out of it.. after 20 odd years of this abuse, my mother had tried to go through the right channels (the elders, in several congregations we moved to etc) in order to get permission to take her children and live separate to her husband who was a constant threat to our very lives (he was a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic & incrediably unpredictable) she was however told time and again that if she left her husband she and her unbaptised children (under 18) would most certainly lose out on everlasting life.

  Welcome.

  I am speechless....makes me so angry that this bulls*# t goes on in this world! Even thinking that a loving God would want these people to be protected(the abusers),for his own name. When do people need to protect god anyways? Makes no sense.

  my 16yo son has just bought his very first concert ticket and it's for the rhcp concert in sydney australia in april 2007. he is sooooooo excited!!!

  he was taking photos of the ticket last night and asked for a frame to put it in!

  he is very cute.

  What do JWs teach about survival of Armageddon....As of non-JW spouse?

  a friend of mine asked me what do they teach regarding non-believers' future.

  can they survive it (probably because of good deed of jw wife or husband)?

  it should be different in case of the partner is friendly to jw and its belief or persecutors.

  I remember when I was in,I was told,a non JW spouse and family members would not be saved.
  When a friend of mine husband went back(but has left this year..yay!),he told his wife,who was against the teachings of the WTS,that they would all live threw armageddon,if they were home....
  
  None of that made sense to me,but so much changed over the yrs since I left anyways,nothing surprized me.

  we had a thread yesterday about how many years we spent in the wts, so let's total up how many years it is since we lef or, if you are fading, since you last attended a meeting.. it's just over a year since i last went, and almost 7 since my bf last went, so our total is 8 years.. feel free to add your years out.

  well one thing that i don't feel stupid for is the statement- owww did you feel jehovah's holy spirit!

  i am so sick of this woman, and her fame for simply being born into a rich family.

  i am just waiting for the day that we get to see her name in the obituary and not on the front of some magazine to say what a great thing she has done, when she found a lost dog.

  i actually like the movie, "house of wax", as it does allow you to see some damage done to this woman.

  Every one is healing from hurt and just being ticked off that the JW's are full of poo poo,all those yrs people have dedicated their lives to lies.
