@freddo figured I should make it official, now that I look at it, it did come off a bit love-bomb-ish :)

Queued for Processing ....
by cofty inif a new topic hangs for ages with spinning icon at "queued for processing " should you give up and post a new copy of the thread or will the eventually result in two threads?.
if it has cleared the first tick "uploading post" can you safely click away from the page?.
servers seem a bit slow recently?.

@freddo nothing like that, I don't know Simon from Adam. I'm in the biz and I know a decent Mod when I see one. Simple as that. -

...well of course I thought the genuineness of the "click" was implied, what you say is absolutely true though I should have mentioned that my bad. -

Just want to take a moment and mention how exceptional the moderator is here @Simon. Been on many many forums and you'll be pressed to find a more fair person. He creates a safe environment where the chicanery is a minimum. It's true my experience here is minimal however it is vast in the tech world and the world of forums.
Simon has proven to be very fair. When things get out of hand or on the cusp of erupting I've seen him close threads to prevent unnecessary comments. Some might take offense to this but this is rather prudent moderating in my experience.
I don't know Simon other than his handle. We've had opposing perspectives. He's closed threads I've started as I mentioned above. I've never spoken to him and have no way of contacting him outside of this experience. This is not a case of love bombing someone for the same of doing it. This is a case of showing appreciation where it's due.
Honestly I don't think it's appreciated what we have here.
What can you do to show appreciation?
Throw the guy a bone and click some ads. It's good to remember that users come and go. At first many are gun ho but then get on with life. Sort of a natural progression I would imagine. So while you're here every so often click on some ads. it helps. As Simon will more than attest a simple bug or minor issue you might see could take many many hours to track down at times. Supporting the site in this way helps keep it around for the next group.
We all have differing opinions on various matters. That's entirely o.k.! In fact it's really great. The other day the thread I put up had some excellent perspectives I hadn't thought of. Guess what your voice was heard! The contrary though where it becomes baiting helps no one. It makes all of us look bad actually.
Enough with the infighting, baiting, diatribes and general bashing simply because you disagree.
A very wise tech mogul said to me in the 90's "Don't make a point, make a productive contribution".
There's a good post on forum behavior here. I think it might be a good review. It was for me.

@BethSarim I can see WT monitoring it but I'm not so sure about individual bodies. My body wouldn't and didn't police in this manner.
Not saying it couldn't happen but it is kinda foreign in general. Maybe in a fact finding JC or something but on a regular basis I'm not so sure.

@Konceptual99 makes a great point regarding discussing things with your husband. They should and most likely will respect that.
Can be a parachute of sorts.

Any ExJw Millenials here? If not which Gen do you fall under?
by Hidethevelociraptors inif anyone had to guess, what do you think the average age of the community actually is?.
are more millennials actually waking up or is it pretty even amongst previous generations as well?

@Crappytan my apologies but my opinions are based on fact not allegiance.
Your comment is a bit typical of what I'm describing though. You call me classless yet support a person who blatantly says they'll break the law.
In all seriousness you just made my case.

@StepfordWife no they won't notify other halls. Only the next hall you move to if/when that were to happen.
The will absolutely remove him if you do not start reporting time again.
Don't see that as a bad thing as it might help him along in the grand scheme of things.
Just a suggestion as I literally just went through the whole ordeal myself. Try not to argue. Pose questions instead. For example you might say "husband it hurts my heart that thousands have died because they refused blood fractions, then the next year (or short time after) those fractions are allowed. I've never seen an apology in the WT how must those families feel?"
There are many more questions such as this that simply can't be explained reasonably other than they got it wrong and didn't apologize.
Have him watch the testimony of governing body member Geoffrey Jackson from the Royal Commission. There's nothing apostate about it. He's under oath in court. Why wouldn't he be honest? Yet he says some highly questionable things that your husband will find difficult to reconcile.

In my experience the ExJW Reddit sub is a complete sham with more moderator abuse than I've ever seen on a sub. Been on Reddit long before any of them knew what it was.
They promote piracy (see below) disparaging the hard work of others. In general a band of apologists for a specific individual. The sub doesn't remotely represent Ex'ers as a whole.
Rather it represents the typical keyboard cowboys that lack meaningful lives or the ability to think for themselves.
So there's your fair warning do with it what you will.
