  ok, i work as a taxi driver, and have had a few witnesses in my car already.

  as there is no where to run, and being in a confined space, there is no choice other than to create small talk.

  after all, shunning someone who is essentially responsible for taking said witness home could lead to a rather embarrassing outcome!

  I used to think there were a lot of covert fades. However I'm not so sure anymore. I say this because until you have something solid to stand on and say hey this is all foley people tend to stay in thinking "what if they're right?".

  What I do believe is that there are many that are ripe for the picking. What I mean is that it will only take one incident to open their eyes and then the whole thing falls like a house of cards.

  Once you do honest research you cannot continue believing in the organization, it's leaders or ideology. Simply isn't possible.

  But again something has to happen to trigger them in such a way that they honestly investigate their faith.

  Second in the Medal Table - Well Done TeamGB

  can't believe it - gb is currently second in the medal table, with more golds and silvers combined than even china.

  given the size of the nation it's an incredible achievement and we have won in some sports where other countries typically dominate.

  i can't imagine we will stay in second but i am happy to enjoy the moment.. well done to the whole of team gb!.

  my "anointed" roommate told me a good one today.

  as we were discussing psychotropic medications, she brought up a friend of hers who was recently forced off of "benzodiazepine" (there is no one drug by this name; rather, it is a specific classification of drug).

  she claimed that many people are being forced off of the medication(s) due to "concerns over side effects," and that her friend is suffering from withdrawal on top of whatever symptoms the drug was previously helping to control (she didn't elaborate and i didn't feel comfortable asking, sorry).. my roommate then went on record to say (i'm paraphrasing here) "this is why armageddon has to happen very soon, because satan is using this system to make all these people suffer psychologically to drive them into the streets and go crazy.

  This sort of thing just makes me sad. At the meeting today I couldn't help but think how utterly controlled and manipulated everyone was. I genuinely felt bad for them. This is a prime example. You mix in things like the "bunker" video and you have this sort of reaction.

  this tidbit just came out.. as population ages, "feuding with computer strangers" surpasses "drunken binges" as most popular form of recreation in united states..

  Ppl who otherwise would be insecure get rather empowered behind a keyboard.

  ...and to be honest it's nothing new. Back in the 80's saw it on bulletin boards. Although among tech types there's a camaraderie to it similar to trash talk between football players.

  @Steph it is likely the recent district convention has caused this change in attitude.

  Don't remember why you were DF'd but you can petition her emotional side. If you are not practicing what she considers sin ask why she would abandon you. Use the word abandon. Ask her to explain how 1 Corinthians 5 applies to those who are no longer practicing sin?

  Ask her if she considers you the AntiChrist. 2 John 10 when it speaks of not greeting a person it is speaking of the AntiChrist. in other words a person who doesn't believe Jesus came in the flesh.

  Tell her you want to assure her you would never forsake the sacrifice of Jesus.

  These are perplexing things for JW's because if you read the scriptures carefully there honestly isn't a basis for shunning you to a degree WORSE than a tax collector.

  ...a 400 typically means that some criteria that the server expects is missing when it tries to query the result set for you.

  just a stab there's probably an id or other unique identifier missing or something that's causing this. Something Simon will have to fix/look at.

  and it could very well be related he may have had to migrate some things around or reproduce some keys in new tables/documents which could cause this.

  all us creationists try to do is offer true evidence that the one and only god is out there watching and looking down on us.

  we present that certain scientists know the truth about god and that he is everything that we see from trees, life, weather, the air we breath, and even the most simple molecules.

  but of course you atheists reject it because it is your nature to not be humble and see god because you want to rule your own life.
