Damn it feels good to be free and on my own without the pressure to do more as a JW slave

i'm only officially out since this past december but i was out mentally for two hot years under the close watch of my batshit crazy psycho parents who bothered me every sunday to see what i thought about the meeting.

etc....... i too was studying and moving towards baptism around that same time.
i got dunked in dec of 1990.. my thought.

I agree but just because some gullible people want to get dunked doesn't mean their contributions will be enough to keep the circus open.
I'm very optimistic. We're in unknown territory right now and the org have turned to the very place (internet based) where they're being exposed. Huge mistake!

Well looking over the accounts in the congregations from my old area, across the board they are in deficit annually. And my mother won't answer when we ask about numbers going down. She just clams up. But I can see the contributions have HALVED in the last 4 years. She did admit though that she just puts a bare minimum contribution in the box but carries on pioneering - which she says is much easier now she can park her cart outside the coffee shop while she sees her friends by appointment LOL! The older ones might be stubborn but they aren't stupid. If they want my mum to buy an ipad, which she did, that's coming out of her contributions, I know her mind thinks like that haha! Lets see if she still likes the coffee shops when the full news breaks in UK... -

@Kaik - WT name has been DESTROYED on the internet. And their name will continue to get worse on the internet so how do you see a ''younger crowd'' joining? Not in the West! They have NOTHING to offer! People just aren't that gullible any more. They're too clued up. The days of drip feeding the crappy side of being a jdub are gone. Now, in 10 minutes on youtube, you can get the raw deal on all the stuff they try to keep hidden until they've got you. Sorry, I don't agree with you at all.
