since then my family have tried to convince me it's "the truth" and force me to go back even though it's my own decision.

The story of 2 study's
by karter inin my old congro 2 people started study's at about the same time.. lets call them john and jane.. john started a study with an elder who was related to most of the b.o.e.. jane with my mother a publisher with an unbleaving mate.. they both progressed well to the point of baptism.. johns house was nothing short of a pigsty overgrown grass inside filthy ect.. janes was not alot better.. when they both wanted to bet baptised jane was held back becouse of the state she kept her house but john was aloud to get baptised.. when the elders told jane this she she stopped her study and went to another religion and lived happly ever after.. the diffrence bettween john and jane appart from he studyed with and elder related to most of the b.o.e........ jane was blind!!.
more to this story.. john quickly moved along with the j.w's doing mic's sound ect and eventually married a sister.. john had 2 children from a previous relationship his son lived with him but he said he never saw his daughter becouse his ex had poisoned her against him.. the son became a j.w and was a real nice guy eventuly getting married to a nice sister and settling down ,both are good j.w's.
to this day.. john however turned out to be a wife beating s.o.a.b they had a child and she was pregnant with number 2 when the police were called on him for beating her up and he was arrested.. the police locked him up for the nite and took him to court the next day were he was found guilty of beating her up.. this was all kept very quite and the elders never took any action against john.. as any court records are open to the public you would think he would at least be "publicly reproved"....nothing!!..

I wish I'd done my research all these years but they make you scared to in a way. My ex was shocked in November when I said I'd done research on 607bce on the internet coz apparently historians all lie and the wts doesn't so should stick to what they say about it coz it's "The truth".... what a load of ****.

I'm not scared of going back into "The world" or leaving the religion would be a better way of putting it since its them against the world. I'll have my freedom back. As soon as I've made some non jw friends I'm disassociating anyway. I only know jws where I've just moved to and don't live near my family so I need to make new friends before I can leave the religion.

She's known me for 12 years and she's the 3rd person recently to say I've changed. Why is it hard mentally to just leave?? I seriously need to make some non jw friends now that I've moved house so I don't find it so hard to leave coz the prospect of having no friends For a while if I leave jws is depressing lol. I don't know any non jws where i live yet so i have some work to do. What would you answer if someone said what does the world have to offer??

Apparently Jehovah`s Witnesses have no scruples about " LYING" to their GOD Jehovah
by smiddy3 ini thought it was bad enough that jw`s put in weekly reports of fs hours every month in the d2d work when in fact the average publisher would never mention this "good news of the kingdom" to the householder .. more often than not it would be something like some mundane thing about what they have observed about the householders property whether they have kids ,what a lovely garden they have before being cut off by the householder with i`m not interested knowing jw`s are trying to convert them/sell them the watchtower and closing the door.. yet the jw goes away happily putting in a report telling jehovah they have spent so much time in the fs witnessing about him and the kingdom of christ jesus...... cart witnessing is even a worse lie ,why ?
because jw`s make no attempt to witness to anybody they expect people to come to them to be witnessed to which of course never happens .
they spend hours upon hours a month telling jehovah by their fs reports they hand in how much they have witnessed for him ,when in fact they have done nothing of the sort .. they chit chat among themselves witnessing to nobody for hours on end and then lie in their fs report they have been witnessing for jehovah ?.

Smiddy3 I completely agree with you its just what has been said at meetings in recent years to make sure people are happy and smiling and looking like they're enjoying themselves when on the doors coz we're givng a witness the whole time we're out

Jws that I know who do the carts always rave on about all the people that have gone and spoken to them and the literature they've placed. They think cart witnessing is doing really well

That's because even if you don't get to speak to anyone when you're out you have been seen by people (especially the ones purposely ignoring the door) and people know you're a witness and that in itself is classed as a witness especially if you're well dressed and groomed and are smiling coz you're In the "happy religion". It seems being seen to be happy and smiling counts more than actually having a bible discussion with someone.
