  now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

  it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

  with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

  But keep in mind folks that those who control or make their own doctrines, actively lure in and control the people.

  Thats why the JWS leaders never sought out collaboration and backing support from other knowledgeable and trained bible theologians.

  "This Generation" revision is flawed not only from its own derivative, its also flawed because its based from another flawed doctrine which is 1914.

  One should always keep in mind that the WTS's doctrines were ideologically contrived in support of literature proliferation, not particularly in truthful and accurate scriptural interpretation.

  when i was a kid we had a kh with a basement and this guy joe winestien lived in it.

  he has passed away i believe.

  he was about 24 and used to hang around the young boys.

  Sure some got married to woman to only eventually come out the closet leaving their female wives for male partners .

  Kind of felt sorry for those woman.

  One guy I remember was known to be homosexual but didn't act upon it, who eventually became an elder, go figure.

  that is the title of one of the watchtower's seemingly endless list of books that was pushed out for sale placement in the jehovah's witness' ministry.

  the title does ask a great question.

  those who would deny that the bible is divine in origin usually point to failed prophecy, events that do not mesh with historic evidence, scientific evidence, or even plagiarism from other religions.

  The Hebrews had a reason, purpose and intent to what they wrote especially concerning and relating to their god.

  Through the knowledge of what mankind has acquired over the centuries, we can also see the apparent ignorance of the writers of the bible.

  in the latest jw broadcast, anthony morris the turd gives a talk about donations.

  to camouflage this, he starts and ends the talk by saying that isn't actually what he's doing.

  first he starts with the usual disclaimer, 'wt has never begged for money like christendom and we never will', you know the drill.

  So many men want the power of god in their hands, yet they all say they are being spiritually guided from him but they say totally opposing things against one another.

  Biden - Inappropriate Toucher and Killer of Children

  ny times report on the drone strike in afghanistan - they killed an aid worker and his family including 7 children.. it was done as a political stunt so biden could claim they struck back at a terrorist (although it was a suicide bomb attack).. the attack was due to his incompetence and the drone strike done to distract from it.. his inappropriate touching of young girls now seems tame compared to his murder of young children.. he should be prosecuted.

  he should be jailed.

  he won't be, because us politics.. if you voted for him you're a shit that supports an inappropriate toucher and killer of children..

  Little hard to believe that an aid worker transferring food and water, who was a worker for an American based NGO was at the same time a secretive ISIS terrorist, who just days before the attack applied for refugee status for himself and his family toward the US.

  The elder who did the reporting is in trouble for disobeying the WTS directions and guidelines concerning situations of child sexual abuse.

  The only other circumstance if is by local State law and approval by the WTS to report the situation to the local police or he's in for some whip ass.

  i’m an atheist.. let’s assume i am wrong, i am willing to be.. let’s give people a god, let’s even make him the god of the bible…... does he deserve to be worshipped and obeyed?

  if so, why does his abhorrent actions not morally make you question allegiance to him?.

  does his authority alone allow him to murder and drown and order war, to throw people into a lake of fire?.

  C T Russell's pyramid monument gets taken away by the WTS.

  just recently the stone pyramid monument at c t russell's grave site was taken away by the wts.. six screens of the watchtower did a public discussion about the removal which may be still on that web site, that's where i heard about it.. it had been recently vandalized such the top head piece was removed and the carved christian cross on the monument was chiseled off.. since the wts owns that grave site, they have the right to do whatever they want to do with it.. my guess is that they will never put it back or redo the damage.. i think they will put it away in a obscure place and cover it, locked up somewhere.. the wts.

  has never been proud or willingly open about that monument for obvious reasons such as being associated in false religion, which they claim they are not and they admonish other christian faiths are.. your thoughts ?

  Political ideology is just as dangerous as religious fanaticism.

  True Jan but this thread is about religion and all of those dire consequences I mentioned about religion can come from political ideologies too even worse.
