im not sure if this has already been asked here but i have some questions about 1914. if jesus arrived "invisibly" in the year 1914 why do the anointed partake of the emblems?
why didn't they stop in 1914?.
if jesus is ruling in heaven then why are the anointed still on earth?
The WTS leaders self proclamation they are anointed was really a opportunistic means to self glorify and as well empower themselves as the select truly righteous ones, therefore in theological terms should be awarded into the anointed class.
This started I believe in 1919 when J Rutherford proclaimed god had chosen him and the IBSA organization.
To put it bluntly, how could they be if they were false prophet charlatans ?

viewing those slides (in combination with the other things i have seen and heard about canada) made me feel that maybe canada is about as close as one can get in the western world to a nation which is now a spiritual paradise, much like a new peaceful order now.
imagine that the usa would never have had a civil war.
it is highly unlikely that is the cause of homelessness, crime rates and other social ills currently befalling Canada.
The high cost of living for example in Toronto or Vancouver has brought on some dire problems own its own.
You have to live here and see the changes to know what I'm talking about.
And yes this new division between the rich and the poor has caused an increase in crime and drug abuse.

The Gospel the JWS profess is not strongly supported in the bible, as a matter of fact its tainted with apostasy really.
True Christians hold to all of Jesus's words not just some and disregard the rest.
Nevertheless they still hold their heads up over all other Christian faiths calling others unrighteous when they claim they are the true righteous ones, a contravening oxymoron of theology when you think about it.
I guess every religion has its own self supporting propaganda.

Canada is great place to live, born here and live here 60 + years.
The top main cities are not so great to live in now based now upon the cost of housing which has risen dramatically due to rich oversea immigrants moving over.
This has made for a lower style of living for many and a growing number of homelessness.
Not too sure about the recent federal politics either but I was never effected by the pandemic problem financially..

by far the majority never hear god answer them audibly ,however most assume he answers their prayers or not , by what transcribes next in their lives.. you pray for what is right according to god and he answers your prayers ,otherwise your prayers are not answered .. those few who who do claim to hear the voice of god audibly are usually found to have mental problems ,either physical or emotional.. if you do good you will be rewarded either now or in the hereafter , if you do bad you will feel the wrath of god and his judgments.
i equate this with superstitious beliefs ,what do you think ?.
Your correct for most part Mick but one has to accept that human ignorance as being a core element to why the ancients believed in powerful supernatural beings.
Essentially that gave them answers to what they saw and experienced.
This facilitated fear and superstitions to promote social behaviors within a given social environment..
You can see that in every organized religion to varying degrees.

Belief in gods were a necessary element to socially control people in ancient times
Non belief in gods in those times was quite minute in comparison to today's human population..
Fear and respect to those connected directly to these gods was established, such as the high priests of the ancient Hebrews/Israelites.
So men can create their own imposing empowerment by proclaiming they are connected to powerful supernatural gods, you can see this occurring in the JWS religion.

Why be a part of this organization when you can be a true Christian devoted and loyal to Jesus Christ his words and guidance than be subservient to sinful men who are scriptural false prophet apostates. ?
