From personal experience and knowing the vengeful spirit they and their Congregation leaders show to opposers and what they are willing to do to get things done their way makes me think they just might ... But I'd think only if they could cover all the tracks back to themselves and be sure you are that much of a threat to them. So it will depend on which country you're in, your threat level, how untraceable they would be and so forth.

They are worse people then any of us can imagine. By this I mean the leaders and some of the power hungry local congregation members.

Even if you're not that much of a danger to them they normally will do everything VERY SECRETLY to mess up your personal life and family and if that doesn't work who knows what else they do. It's all to show to the congregation... You see he was a bad boy ... Now God has punished him.

If you're still in this religion... Run man and run fast... It's the worst thing that has ever happened to you!

Who are the 144,000?

if i am understanding correctly only 144,000 will go to heaven, to be with jesus and help rule?

these 144,000 are witnesses only.

there is over a million jw world wide, what happens to the rest of the faithful followers.

The anointed are those with tongues of fire on their heads. Book of acts puts it that way. Maybe because they are hot headed or whatever I don't know. However the Israelite Kings were anointed with oil and these modern anointed ones are supposed to be be future Kings also. Yeah some publications in JWs land shows them with tongues of fire. Which explains why they go through a baptism of fire. Problem is despite being Kings some are more important Kings then others and these are called discreet Slaves. The slaves today live in Warwick ... Appropriate name for their headquarters as they also claim to be ones who will fight a War against Governments and tie up the Devil in chains in some deep abyss in an unknown place in the universe for 1K years. Apart from their belligerence and royalty they are famous for remembering pacts with blood and flesh that they drink in the form of wine and bread once a year while millions observe them silently.

Their numbers were dwindling in the past but there has been a recent resurgence... We're all on the watch for an explanation from the Warwick slave group on the reasons for this. And of course much more can be said ... but this is just the introduction.

Are you better off as a worldly person or a JW?

i was having a conversation with a relative who has been inactive for several decades (part of the ‘75 generation) and he argued that a person that is a born in is better off staying in the organization rather than someone like him who lived as a “worldly” person but then became a witness later in life.

he argues that when you’re born in, all you know nothing outside of the organization, so you’re better off in than out, that’s why when born ins leave the org, they always come back.

i agree that as a born in, your social circle is composed of witnesses but i do feel that even born ins would be happier outside of the org than being in.

Millions of times better in the world then with those ignorant asshole elders and circuit overseers. Then there are the dumb congregation members who just obey like idiots whatever the elders tell them to do. Jesus ... Even chicken run and put up a fight before you can slaughter them!

New to the truth

i have been meeting with member's of the kingdom hall, and i have attended a few times now on sundays.

i'd like to discuss experiences with this group since i'm new.

Well these people can be an interesting game to play with when you have a lot of free time as was my case before the facts start rolling in. They will flatter you into thinking that you are part of an elite elect of humanity. This will foster their spirit of alienating you from others. Depending on what you decide you can be part of an experiment in brainwashing and control, the like of which is uncommon in today's world, which would hook even the most skeptical of curiosity seekers.

On the other hand if you have the stomach and free time you could seek to show these people how severely brainwashed they are . But you'd have to do your study and depending on your humanity you'd do a great service to society ... or am I starting to sound like one of them!

Remember though ... they are pros ... they will suspend your individuality, promote total dependency on them, exert tremendous group pressure on you and use every possible method to heighten your subordination to the group while blending in and hiding their real ambitions on you.

Things You Still Agree With The JWs On

aside from obvious things that most people agree on, like theft being wrong and the importance of family, i can't think of a single thing i agree with the jws on, nothing that's specific to their religion anyway.

That you should love your enemies as yourself so please don't greet them when they're dfd.

Don't judge others so please have judicial committees and mark others when necessary.

Mind your own business so please use social gatherings and questions to hypocritically know as much as possible about the congregation members.

Jesus is the head of the congregation so ignore his advice regarding secular work like running the extra mile and listen always to the GB about working less.

Discourage higher education even though the founder of the Christian congregation JC had more scientific knowledge then anyone else because you may be in competition with him.

Altered Scriptures?

my spies tell me that the jobos recently had a broadcast where 2 scriptures have been changed.. luke 22.26you, though, are not to be that way.

but let the one who is the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the one taking the lead as the one ministering.. 1 tim 3:1this statement is trustworthy: if a man is reaching out to be an overseer,+ he is desirous of a fine work.

So according to G.Jackson an overseer should reach out in being an elder without wanting to have the position of an elder but only his work . Totally senseless reasoning on his part.

Why then be an elder. You could just continue doing the Ministry and serve others. And oh of course Paul forgot to put hard work in the Congregation as a requirement for elders.

The usual jumbled up logic of the Warwick crowd.

And why all the emphasis on hardwork or in other words proselytism? It's in the best interests of the GB to have more members which is more money for them, higher ego, more publicity and so on. At the same time harder working members will have less time to figure out that this religion is a total fake.

Well there are several examples but take one for example; the Bible says that baptism would be in the name of the Holy Spirit. Does the Holy Spirit have a name? According to WTS and many other Christian denominations ... No.

So necessarily associating the sentence of Acts 15:14 "a people for his name " with only referring to Jehovah is wrong.

You state above that it could have been possible that the same people who transmitted the LXX (Septuagint) who deleted the name in the NT. Impossible because the LXX was written by scholars in the period of 247BC to 117BC. Yes the completion was in 117BC .The LXX -Septuagint has absolutely nothing to do - no link at all with the NT ...
