  Yes i`ve had that experience and when I think about it to be honest I think I`ve been guilty of it myself.

  I don`t believe it`s anything malicious on anyone`s part ,hell ,it`s hard enough keeping in touch with people we physically know let alone people in cyber space / internet people we have never met.

  however I do think maybe we should be a bit more attune to it ,as it can come across as rude or worse.

  And I take it you are talking about PM`s ?

  I don`t take it personal , and lets face it we cant please everyone in what we say or do .

  And we in Australia have compulsory voting.

  well, this month's jw broadcasting had a curious piece of history class.

  samuel herd was there, but i don't remember if it was him that presented it.

  the theme was "how it was to be a jw in the years 1900.".

  Didn`t the "Millions Now Living Will Never Die" campaign begin with the Cedar Point convention in 1922 ?

  On another point Jesus Christ never appointed Jehovah`s Witnesses as the F&DS because they didn`t exist then .

  If anyone was appointed by Jesus back then it would have been the I.B.S.A. and those who became Jehovah`s Witnesses later on were actually a breakaway group that wouldn`t have had Christ Jesus approval.

  New "Annointed" Brother In My Old Hall...

  i've only just stopped laughing.. in my old hall there's a brother who's now claiming to be of the anointed.. he's 28.. i do wonder if he's doing this for attention, if he's awake and messing with them, or if he really is that deluded.

  when i was in he was an ms. which surprised even me because only a year earlier than that he was "a bit of a lad", is rubbish at talks and relies on his elder uncle to get him out of trouble all the time.. i guess this now means he's get his pick of jw sisters.

  he's been after the same one as the rest of his peers since 2014..

  These "Anointed ones" are going to rule with Jesus Christ in the Heavens for a thousand years right?

  However down here on earth all their allowed to do in the congregations are to vacuum the KH`s and clean the toilets.

  That was a very interesting read L.E.and one that highlights some very troubling possible scenarios that could eventuate with Donald Trump as president of the USA .

  While I had doubts as to his suitability to be the leader of the "free world" , when all of these "human failings" are placed end on end , it makes for a compelling case to remove him from office before something we will all regret happens.

  He seems to be obsessed with twitter saying things off the cuff,shooting from the hip,without considering the consequences of his tweets.

  But who am I ,a foreigner and not a US citizen .

  Then of course D.T.is not the only wild card we need to worry about in the world is he.

  The JW Blood Issue: Resolved!

  i just completed writing a series of 8 blog posts dismantling the watchtower's blood policies.. it was my goal to prove that the blood ban is neither scriptural nor sensible.

  this is a rewrite of the series of articles i contributed some years ago to the now defunct jehovahswitnessblog site of james peyton (you may also know james as the founder of jwpodcast.

  ) even though this is a very serious topic, i tried to stay true to the humorous mood "tenny pajamas" always managed to maintain on his site.

  I just perused your Blog ,Excellent as it may be but 22 pages long ? Dont get me wrong it seems like an excellent site for those wanting to prove to themselves the absurdities of JW`s claiming they are basing this belief on Bible Scripture in refusing Blood Transfusions.

  I am sure many here will benefit from the amount of depth you have gone to with this Blog.

  But it is a helluva lot to wade through on this site ,or is it just me.?

  I take my hat off to you loyal2truth and wish you all the best.

  president trump has decided to wind up the american war against the taliban.

  will he fare better than many before him.. the ny times recently published this group of images ranging from the nineteenth century until now, including this group of british officers (photographed in 1878 in afghanistan) many of whom likely stayed on in afghanistan permanently.. .

  i'm sure a group of modern day invaders would not look very different.

  Isn`t it true that the Americans were training and supplying the Afghans with weapons,technology etc. in their war with the Russians ?

  RIP Harry Dean Stanton

  the actor harry dean stanton died yesterday.

  he was 91. first, i hope his family get support through this difficult time.. stanton was a character actor who appeared in numerous films in a long career - check out his filmography in wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/harry_dean_stanton).

  The first thing I would do is put in a plan to eliminate every S.O.B. who did`nt agree with what I am going to do to end once and for all , Religion, War ,Hunger poverty, Sickness ,so everybody could die happy after a couple of hundred years of old age

  And anybody who is`nt with the plan can go to Hell.

  today, i saw an old friend in town, and, after we got caught up and finally said our goodbyes, she asked me to pray for her.

  family problems were eating her up.. how have you responded if and when you were asked this?

  The person I am today would be sympathetic to the plight such a person is going through however I would explain to them why I dont believe my praying to a mythical God is going to do them any good.

  And if I were able to offer sound advice and suggestions to help them I would,but prayer is not something I believe in anymore.
