JW Parents getting... DIVORCED

hello everyone!it has been quite some time since i've posted, but a lot has happened.

i am still with my boyfriend (mentioned in my past and very first post!

.In my experience with the JW`s in over 33 years ,I was surprised just how many couples got divorced and re-married again .I was associated with about 6 congregations in that time and one sister had been married 3 times that I know of.

Now that I think back, I did know that she had been trying to live a healthier lifestyle.. Gym, workout, eat healthy, and she was starting to look great physically,

Actually that is a good indication that someone has found someone else or is looking for someone else,it`s not so uncommon .

Dietary Quirks Among JWs

i recently had to accompany an older family member out of state to a family reunion.

it was a big reunion and not much was overtly made of the fact that i am "misguided" and not attending meetings (lost soul that i am) which was nice.

the thing i noticed that i was most struck by was all the dietary quirks in evidence during our 3 days together.

A then JW friend of mine when we were witnesses ,got sucked into one of the diet fads that were doing the rounds of JW`s at the time 30 or 40 years ago.

And he wore a T-Shirt that said "Lose weight Ask me How" the thing is he had a big beer gut which used to really crack us up ,it was so comical to see.

A good JW friend of my wife and I was in hospital suffering from breast cancer many years ago and the woman patient next to her was saying when she got out of hospital she was only going to eat healthy foods from then on.

Our friend said to her" don`t even bother" as she had been eating nothing but healthy foods all her life didn`t smoke and didn`t drink alcohol .And she still got cancer.

She died too young ,she was a lovely young lady

Is it better to have a false hope than have no hope?

just got the news.

a very close classmate of mine met an accident and died last nite.... just 4 months after i da'd from the borg.. if i am still in, i wouldn't be so sad.

he has the hope of resurrection.. but now that i am out, i realise that resurrection in paradise is all bullshit.. so what's next?

Random and unsafe conditions

.Obviously not everything is all rosy even after the thousand year reign of Christ Jesus.

Is anybody taking notice of Rev.:20 :7-10 ? Take this scripture into consideration just how could the thousand years of JC`s rule be called a period of paradise.? When it is obviously their are going to oppose the numbers which are as the sand of the sea.which will result in a war ? to end those humans who rebel in that thousand year reign and finally end Satans involvement in earths affairs ..... finally.

{Why he couldn`t / wouldn`t do it in the garden of Eden and saved us all thousands of years of human suffering is beyond me.

According to JW`s it was to prove a point ,big deal ,and millions if not billions of human beings died many with horrific deaths .

I have hope I am going to win the lottery when I but a ticket maybe once or twice a month ,do I build my whole life around this Hope ? No of course not because I also know that the probability of winning is astronomically against my doing so.

In other words I don`t lead my life around the assumption I will win the lottery.

The hope JW`s have about resurrection ,paradise earth ,living forever ,either in heaven or on earth are all "pie in the sky" false hopes invented by charlatans posing as Bible Scholars.

I can only speak for myself and I would never want to delude myself with a false hope.

The record of Jehovah`s Witnesses speaks for itself ,it`s foundation is built on what has proved to be false hope.

I`m sorry your experiencing this loss sinboi ,death is just a part of living in the real world ,the older you get the more people die around you ,it`s just a fact of life.

I`m sorry if I sound cynical but I don`t believe in lying to myself.

While you have life live it to the full because you never know what`s around the corner.
