That sounds like nothing short of criminal to me taking money under false pretenses and using it for another purpose than which it was donated for.
The R&F JW`s should talk to some lawyers if they had any sense .

by Sour Grapes ina letter was read tonight in our kingdom hall that the money that the circuits in the indianapolis area had in savings to build a new assembly hall will now be transferred to the www to build kingdom halls in lands where they are needed and a new assembly hall for us will not be built.. we had a beautiful assembly hall near downtown indy that was paid for.
it was sold a couple of years ago.
we were promised a new assembly hall to be built in southern ohio near the indiana border but they can kiss that goodbye now.

Charles Taze Russell never identified himself as a Jehovah`s Witness and neither did any of his followers .
Incidentally the Jews of Isa. 43:10-12 and after , never identified themselves as Jehovah`s Witnesses (the word Jehovah never even existed then ) and Jesus when on earth never chastised the Jews for not taking up the name Jehovah`s witnesses ( again the name / word Jehovah never existed then )
Jesus himself never uttered the name Jehovah or any equivalent in either Greek,Hebrew or Aramaic
The earliest time the Jehovah`s Witnesses could have arisen is in the thirteenth Century when a Catholic Monk first coined the word/name Jehovah
However this never happened
Not until J.F.Rutherford took over the control of the I.B.S.A. in the 1930`s and renamed it Jehovah`s Witnesses. simply to differentiate his religion from mainstream Christendom .
And as they say the rest is history. or is it .?
JW`s like to keep revising their history over and over again.
Why are they so ashamed of their own early history ? Are they ashamed of what they were teaching in those early publications ?
Are they embarrassed by what they were teaching in those early publications .?

Jehovah`s Witnesses will point to Heb.12 :1 rationalizing/ justifying they are Jehovah`s Witnesses however if you look at the context of Heb.Chap.12 doesn`t it clearly state that Christians are witnesses of Jesus Christ and not Jehovah.?
The name or even word Jehovah or Tetragrammaton does not exist in the existent Christian Greek Scriptures.
Just another example of JW`s cherry picking scriptures and taking them out of context .

by Phoebe ini've had an email from a sister who tells me that out in field service this morning a long standing route call has told them she won't be taking any more magazines and doesn't want them calling on her again because she has heard about the jws child abuse scandals and cover ups.
she was quite angry with them and said your elders say there is nothing wrong but there is and it will all come out.. this is the first time anyone i know of has been challenged on the doorstep and they were absolutely shocked and also angry.
angry that the organization is not preparing them for dealing with this and for not being honest with the brothers about what is going on ie: lawsuits etc.. just thought i'd share that with you..

That was good to hear Phoebe we can only hope that all of this exposure around the world in one country after another exposing the child abuse scandals in their own countries more and more people are seeing the religion for what it really is just another man made religion no better than any other man made religion or among the 40,000 Christian Religions that already exist here on Earth.

In my experience in the organization male or female did what "THEY" wanted to do regardless of what the G.B /.Organization had to say and they would just simply rationalize what they did.And have no qualms about it.

Nobody wants to comment on Jesus name being Immanuel ? In the christian greek Scriptures ?
It was prophesied in Isaiah that his name was to be called Immanuel not Jesus.Isa.7:14 , Mt .1 :23 ,and Mathew corroborates that scripture.
Do you or I believe what the Scriptures actually say or are we to believe what interpretations are given us by imperfect human beings with their own agendas telling us what we should believe.
It begs the question just how much of the Bible has been manipulated altered to fit the Agenda of those with something to gain from having a translation that fits their pre-conceived agenda.
The NWT of the Bible is a prime example of that placing the name Jehovah in the Christian Greek Scriptures when their own publication K.I. a word for word translation of the C,G,S does not contain the Tetragrammaton anywhere in the N.T.
