i was saddened to hear this ,she was only 69 yrs old and i thought she played a great lois lane in the superman movie.. in her life she obviously had issues to deal with and not the best of outcomes sometimes .. r.i.p.

Kingdom Hall shot up in Washington state

a kingdom hall near a small community called yelm was shot up.

yelm is where two kingdom halls where set on fire about a month ago.

i think someone, exjw, in that area is really pissed off..

I was living in S.E.Qld at the time with my young family when the news came over about it.

just heard that a young brother committed suicide this week - the whole congregation is naturally very distressed.

according to my source he'd only been married about a year and his wife found him - he’d hung himself.

When we look at the Hebrew Scriptures /Old Testament books of the Bible without Watchtower Rose Coloured glasses or blinkers on we may learn something.

Under the Theocracy of Jehovah Gods rule soldiers in battle died ,that is why King David sent the husband of Bathsheba to the front because he knew those at the front in battle died.

Also under the Theocracy of Jehovah`s rule ,their was a colony of Lepers that were kept apart from the nation of Israel a colony that obviously still existed up until Jesus day from Aaron and Moses day .Lev.13:2 ,luke 5:12 .

How would you think these Lepers would have felt living under Jehovah`s Theocracy cut off from the rest of society ,how would you have felt ?

Were they living in a Spiritual Paradise in King Davids time ? Solomons time ? Leper Colonys still existed then .

Israeli soldiers were still losing their lives in wars that Jehovah sanctioned back then

Jehovah`s Witnesses seem to be oblivious to these facts ?

I Went To My Brother’s Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall

i have to say that the talk was very good.

instead of just repeating a jw manual , the speaker actually spoke about my brother!

there were a few scriptures with the jw hope but 80 % of the talk was actually about the life of my brother.

I`m sorry for your loss minimus and that you were happy with the service but sad that the religion in the end came between you and your brother through no fault of your own .

And i guess that is the same mindset with the Shia`s and Sunni`s of Islam ?

The Israeli`s and Palestinian`s ?

They could all claim to be the "Truth" because they are all being persecuted ?

Seeking info - murder suicide in WA Australia - were they Witnesses?

hey guys.

a grandfather murdered his wife, daughter and 4 grandkids.. the father says his kids are in a "new system" and says his god is "jehovah".

the grandparents lived on a farm and called it their "foreever farm".

I have been thinking about this tragedy and after watching the video of the father and his demeanor it would not surprise me in the least if he didn`t commit this crime and staged it so that it looked like his father in law committed the crime after all he was the one who had the motive not his father in law.

Speculation has been that the FIL was the guilty party , what was his motive .?

I speculate that it may have been the father of the children and husband of his wife that committed the crime.

What was his motive ? his wife`s parents were influential in breaking up the marriage and separating him from his children and his wife ,and the children were Autistic ,he was also influenced to some degree by the Jehovah`s Witness belief in a resurrection of the dead if they die before Armageddon which he alluded to in his speech.

And saying they were now in the New system of things. { typical J.W. teaching }

The media has jumped to the conclusion the father in law committed this crime maybe law enforcement should take a closer look at the father of the children .and husband of the estranged wife..

I`m just saying its another possibility .
