Taking children out on the ministry

can i ask your views on taking children out on the ministry?

do you have any experiences you can share of things you as a child/your children/grandchildren have witnessed on the ministry that they shouldn't have?.

I am ashamed of myself for making my kids go out in fs with me when I did.I only did up to ten hours a month for most of my fs time of 33 years "in' and I didn`t make them go out every weekend only maybe once a month but not of course for the whole 33 years of my being a JW.

I cant imagine what they would have gone through hoping they wouldn`t meet one of their school mates in the d2d service.

And sad to say on occasion they did.

But taking babies out in FS ? that is so screwed up ,I wasn`t that fu***d up.

in the montana sex abuse court case for the first time watchtower has been required by the courts to give a financial statement to the court to assess awards of punitive damages for negligence and (for the first time)malice in non compliance of mandatory reporting laws.. watchtower corp of new york has finances in excess of $2 billion while cc of jw is worth $49 million.

this doesn't include the pensylvania corp or what overseas branches may have.. pretty healthy bank balance by any standards..

what other corporations are associated with JWs and what is their net value?

Warwick, Patterson, Wallkill, Assembly Halls, and whatever other property they own.?

And I agree that the figure given raises more questions than it answers

The first recorded use of the name Jehovah was by a Spanish Catholic Monk in the 13th century.

One J.Martinus who translated the four Hebrew letters of the Tetragrammaton into Latin and English and added the vowels to come up with the name Jehovah.

Jehovah`s Witnesses now have two things to thank the Catholic church for the books of the Bible and now the name of the God they worship.

Yet their is still not one scripture in the N.T. that has the name Jehovah in it......Not one.

Nowhere in the KI is the Divine name used either in Hebrew { Tetragrammaton} or the equivalent Greek letters.

And that is the Greek Text that they use for for the NWT of the Bible ,so the name Jehovah has no place in the New Testament

What are YOU depending on for Salvation? New Video

many groups (jehovah's witnesses, mormons, sda'..) false teachers and deceivers today rely and depend on good works, their own righteousness, keeping the law, having a certain lifestyle or behaviour, being faithful in service and/or being baptised to save them from their sins.

however, all of the above according to god's word, will never save a soul.

in this video, i cover most items which people today try and depend on to save them from their sins.

I`m not depending on anyone or anything for my salvation , according to the Bible God condemned me to a life of misery disease and death simply because of what Adam and Eve did thousands of years ago before I was even born .

And the same for every other living person

I don`t consider him a God of love ,who in their right mind would.?

So i`m certainly not looking for salvation from him.

When is a church not a church?

the watchtower and jehovah's witnesses go out of their way to insist that they are not a church like the false ones of christendom.

so why don't they file an irs tax return?

because, according to guidestar they are exempt, since they are a church.

Watch Tower uses voluntary contributions to support Bible education and to provide humanitarian assistance.

Provide humanitarian assistance ? that`s a joke and laughable .

And they still refuse to advertise their religious meetings along side Church notices in Newspapers local and otherwise.

Funeral/Memorial at the Kingdom Hall ... Would you go?

let's say an aunt or uncle dies.

.

let's say you barely knew them.. let's say their memorial service was held at the kingdom hall.. let's say if you attend, you have to deal with shunning from family and jws, and you are forced listen to them present their paradise promotional materials, and the dead person's "earthly hope™", and let's face it ... the heeby-jeebies of having to be in a kingdom hall again.. would you put yourself through it?

My Mom's Challenge to Me

so my jw mom messages me on facebook last night and says she wants me, for a month, to read the bible, but first pray using the name jehovah and in jesus name and then read it with an open mind.

she is so ridiculous!

first of all, i do pray but i usually just say father and i always pray in jesus name and i find it ironic that she is saying i should have an open mind when hers is closed.

Ask your mother a couple of simple questions that she should be able to answer satisfactory.

1. Why didn`t both Jehovah God and Christ Jesus never shun Satan the Devil ?

Satan always had the freedom to come and go in the presence of Jehovah in heaven { JOB }

Jesus Christ spent fourty days with Satan allowing him to tempt him in the wilderness and after that was concluded Satan left him until another convenient time { Jesus never shunned him} Luke 4.

2.If Jehovah God loved the world of mankind so much why did he cast Satan out of heaven down to the earth to mislead as many of mankind as he could ? And that he has promised to do the same thing again after the thousand years have ended ? by releasing Satan from the Abyss to mislead as many as he can .?

Ask her if she would do such a thing to her own son.?
