by FatFreek 2005 inseveral months ago i wrote a letter to two of my sons, still jw.
the letter is 41 years belated.
i am now 78 years old so this was a bucket list item.

by RULES & REGULATIONS inwt study october 2018. maintain inner peace despite changing circumstances.
lloyd and alexandra learn that they have been reassigned to the field, they at first felt sad.
after all, they had been serving at bethel for over 25 years.

Human beings are funny that way ,they like to put other human beings on pedestals .
Whether its ancient Prophets ,Saints , Apostles , Disciples of the Bible ,Kings or Queens of royalty ,or Presidents of a Country ,and lets not forget Celebrities of either Film or Literature .
All and everyone of them are only human , they have their failings and imperfections , none of them are perfect and some have secrets you wouldn`t want to know about.
And the same is true and no different about the Governing Body members of Jehovah`s Witnesses ,they are imperfect human beings with faults and that they should not be put up on a pedestal as if they are any better than anybody else on this earth.
You don`t know what goes on behind closed doors in their lives .

If My Dad Were To See The Watchtower Org Now
by pale.emperor inas we all know, this org has metamorphosized from one ugly creature to another continuously since it's inception.
but more so it seems in the last 30 years.. i got to thinking what my dad would think if he were to be brought to life for 5 mins to see the way things are now.
how would he even react?.

nice to review how one of the "faithful snakes" slithered when he was captive to being questioned.. at 40 seconds, he is asked to swear an oath - and he swears on the bible.
obviously jesus' words slipped his mind: matthew 5:34-37 - "however, i say to you: do not swear at all, neither by heaven.....nor by earth,.... just let your word ‘yes’ mean yes, your ‘no,’ no, for what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.

That is excellent Fall guy thanks for posting it. Telling ,I think it was of Jackson a GB member , swearing on the Bible to tell the truth when at least one Elder took an Affirmation to tell the truth instead of swearing on the Bible to tell the truth. { everybody speaking in agreement-in unity ? }
One question though ? How did G.Jackson answer this question ?
After 49 minutes the judge asked him these 4 questions - "Does your church accept corporal punishment of children? Do you accept corporal punishment? Do you accept corporal punishment? Do prohibit it?"

And i am also very grateful to all of those who contribute to this forum with the wealth of information ,facts and knowledge that I have received in more than the 10 years I have been here .smiddy 1,2,3.
I have learnt more about the JW/WT here than I ever did being a Jehovah`s Witness for 33 years.
I am 79 years old and my wife 76 yrs, who doesn`t post here but supports me and we too have our health problems ,but that is to be expected now. Every year above ground is a bonus.
And I appreciate the fifth column movement still in the organization that leak out to us secret classified information we wouldn`t otherwise be aware of...Thank you.

New witness a bit lost

Before you commit yourself to becoming a Jehovah`s Witness do a little research yourself,to save you from a lot of heartache .
Nowhere in the New Testament ,or as the JW`s like to call it the christian Greek scriptures are followers of Jesus ever called upon to be a witness for Jehovah ,nowhere not one scripture.
However their are over twenty scriptures in the New Testament that admonish followers of Jesus Christ to be witnesses of,for,and about Jesus.
In Phillipians 2: 9-10 clearly states that the name Jesus is above every other name in heaven on earth and under the ground, and that every knee should bend to ( in worship )..... not Jehovah.
I was a witness for 33 years and it was the biggest mistake I ever made.
