  Infiltrated Elders?

  so i'm watching john cedars commentary on the annual meeting from this last october, and at one point he shows a clip of garrett loesch talking about the struggles jehovah's witnesses faced decades before in the soviet union.

  he claimed that police officers, maybe the kgb, infiltrated congregations which met in secret by studying with jehovah's witnesses, getting baptized, and then working their way up to becoming elders.

  ceders jokes that this shows what kind of role holy spirit actually plays within body of elders, but another interpretation came to my mind just now.

  I remember hearing those statements many years ago about Commies infiltrating the org.working their way up the ranks to spy and become like a fifth column movement within the organization.

  I think its just another ploy to get the R&F all worked up about how they and they only have the "truth" and the Govt`s go to extreme lengths to persecute them.

  Its not unlike many years ago when the org .threw a cat among the pigeons in the congregations implying that their were weak brothers & sisters in the congregations that needed to be "marked" because they could be a danger to ones spirituality so have little contact with them until they prove their Christian maturity .

  Haven`t they also said in times past that the Govts could print fake Watchtowers to mislead the faithful ? I remember that.

  Its all about control & FOG keep the JW`s on their toes persecution can come from anywhere.

  Just keep trusting the GB as the F&DS and you will be fine.

  i raise this question for many reasons really ,thinking back on their past history and how they have responded to past failures .that they explain away as human imperfections.. on the one hand they claim to be gods spokesperson on earth .the only true religion god is using to dispense his truths at the proper time.

  and that members of the gb are the f&ds class assigned to do this.. or do they deliberately manipulate witnesses vulnerability about world events ,disasters ,earthquakes etc ,to prey on those fears about the gt /armageddon.. that they are constantly warned about .

  and that it is impending.. producing videos that show how jw`s will be persecuted round up and imprisoned simply for being a jw .on a worldwide scale .. the bunker video ?.

  Thanks for all of your comments guys ( M-F) some interesting thoughts brought up about how they can know on the one hand Gods Holy Spirit is not directing them yet on the other hand believing they are still his chosen people and that they will get it right one day.

  I think their on a treadmill of their own making and they just can`t or wont get off ,they have made too much of a good life-style for themselves so keep pushing for the money to keep rolling in.

  the final part of the october, 2018 annual meeting has now been released of jw org tv.the following includes a transcript of mark sanderson's speech for those that don't want to listen to the broadcast.. we have long held that the land of decoration is the "spiritual estate of jehovah's people"... now brothers what can we say about all these events that have taken place (referring to recent events in russia) in such a short period of time?

  well, truly, if you're a student of the history of god's organization, you can say these events are unprecedented in our history.

  we've never seen a country or a territory with 175,000 witnesses of jehovah go under ban.

  The average R&F Jehovah`s Witness has no idea what he or she believes in anymore ,the Doctrines if you can call them that keep changing so much so often ,I bet even Jehovah can`t keep up with them anymore , and Jesus ? he just keeps scratching his head with a bewildered look on his face .

  That they are constantly warned about

  And that it is impending.

  Producing videos that show how JW`s will be persecuted round up and imprisoned simply for being a JW .on a worldwide scale .

  The bunker video ?

  And producing no evidence for justifying such a claim.

  The GB of Jehovah`s Witnesses are deliberately trying to cause a paranoia atmosphere among the R&F hoping to achieve an outcome that will validate their own prophecy and give them more traction .

  The longer they can dangle this carrot of a Paradise Earth and a New System the longer they can live the life they have chosen for themselves .

  But I don`t believe they believe it anymore .

  zeb ,something like what the GB are doing with Russia now ? Provoke the Russian Govt. to act against the interests of the WTB&TS and then claim religious persecution ?

  So the G.B. can keep the scam going to the rest of the world of Jehovah`s Witnesses that the Great tribulation and Armageddon are just around the corner ,yet again.

  Keep the treadmill going , and keep the carrot dangling in front of the donkey .

  then any and all help came from friends offering money, food, apartments, jobs.

  This rings a bell was it the 1970`s ? when "Special brochures" were to be distributed D2D a different one every month or so and we weren`t to waste time talking to people just to get to as many homes as possible in the time we were out in the service.

  Speculation was rife among the R&F that their were going to be seven and the last one was to be a hard hitting "hailstones" like message that would bring on the great tribulation .

  Comparison was made about marching around jericho and the seven trumpets bringing down the walls .

  Of course nothing of the sort happened , it was a big let down.

  Anybody remember that time ?

  Jehovah's Witnesses Called At My Door

  last saturday morning, i answered a knock at my door to see a man standing next to a young boy who handed me a pamphlet posing the question, "how do you view the bible?

  would you say it is (1) a book of human wisdom?

  (2) a book of myths and legends?

  The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures, a Watchtower publication, and turned to page 23 of the Foreword, pointing out the following statement, "While inclining to view the pronunciation Yahweh as [I paused to let the man read the next phrase aloud] the more correct way, [and I continued reading] we have retained the form Jehovah because of people's familiarity with it since the 14th century."

  I never realized this was in this book also ,I only remembered it being in the "Aid" book and that is really telling in the fact that they claim to be the only one`s Highliting and making known GOD`s name when they admit its not his correct name ? and a name that was invented by a catholic monk in the 13th Century no less.?

  It could be argued here that it is Jehovah`s Witnesses who are hiding the "true " name of GOD.

  That`s priceless.

  And the fact that they say peoples familiarity with the name Jehovah since the 14th Century ?

  Doesn`t that clash with their claim that Christendom and the world have been trying to hide the name of God ?

  i was thinking of how witnesses were always admonished to take care of their own before they should ever help a worldly neighbor.

  i don’t think they ever do anything for the community unless it’s a benefit to them..

  The G.B. / Jehovah`s Witnesses claim they are not a charity and that it is the responsibility of family members to look after the elderly or infirm Jehovah`s witnesses and not their job to do so.

  Failing that they will tell you to use the Government sponsored programs and Churches as well as the local community to get the needed help .

  Funny how "The God of Love" Jehovah`s chosen people fail to help their aged loyal servants who for many years into old age spent their lives in the service to the organization that now rejects them in their time of need ,

  and are told to rely on what they term as Satan`s system of things ,Govts ,Churches ,health Care ,etc.while they WTB&TS turn a blind eye and offer no help whatsoever .

  And all the while the WTB&TS claim and get Charitable status around the world ?

  My mind boggles.
