  Lack of young people in the congregation?

  been baptized for two years but being in the truth for longer.

  one thing i have always noticed is the lack of young people in the congregation.

  does anyone feel the same ?.

  Going back to the 1960`s I attended a few congregations in Melbourne OZ,and in each of those Congs,their was only a few young children and no teenagers.

  We moved to Qld OZ where over the years their were a lot of teenagers as well as young children in the various congs, we attended there.

  From what i hear on the grapevine about half to 2/3rds of the teenagers have left the borg and pursued a life outside of JW. one I believe has made a name for himself as a cage fighter ?

  Though some have never quite shaken off the control the religion has had of a hold on them even though they live a life that would get them DF if the Elders knew of their lifestyle.

  When Will Jehovah`s Witnesses Appoint A Woman As A Governing Body Member.? It`s Long Overdue !

  jehovah himself gives the saying "the women telling the good news are a large army" psalms 68 : 11 coupled with the fact that a good portion of women partake of the emblems and wine at the annual memorial celebration.. identifying themselves as part of the 144000 that are taken from the earth to rule with christ jesus in the heavens.. isn`t it about time they were recognized for their contributions and given the fact that gods word the bible clearly states that 144,000 of anointed are to be taken from the earth which many women are a large part of.?.

  revelation ch.14 :4 could be argued that they are not lesbians { "these are the ones who do not defile themselves with women ,in fact they are virgins, etc,etc.}.

  i wonder just how many men who claim to be of the anointed have not defiled themselves with women and are virgins.?.

  So how can he be defiled by a woman ?

  When are these Anointed women of the JW religion going to rise up and take ownership of their claim to be of the Anointed ? and take their rightful position in the organization having a representative on the Governing Body ?

  Why is it Jehovah God never Shunned Satan the Devil ? Apparently the Devil still had access to Heaven and stationed himself in front of Jehovah and having a conversation with him ? even Centuries after Satan deceived Adam and Eve ? the book of Job.

  Jehovah God never shunned Satan.

  Why is it Jesus Christ never shunned Satan the Devil Jesus had conversations with him and even went up to a mountain with him.

  Jesus Christ at no time had a problem with engaging in discourse with Satan the devil and this some 4000 years after Satan deceived Adam and Eve.

  Jesus Christ the son of God did not shun Satan the Devil.

  its extremely short, as in one sentence long.

  i'm not giving them a reason coz i don't need to coz it's my life and my choice and i don't have to answer to the boe or gb.

  In my mind a DA letter is equivalent to you DF the organization and not vice versa.And you don`t need to explain your decision you don`t owe them anything.

  They are nobody`s except in their own delusional minds.

  so, i think i’m going to be df’d, but elders are out of town and no decision has been officially reached.

  what would happen if i sent a certified overnight letter and said that i was going to disassociate before they have their meeting??.

  i know the two conditions are similar, but i’m just curious... dd.

  If I were you I would rather D.F them for being false witnesses nothing they have ever prophetically spoken of has ever come true.. with a DA letter before they can do it to you.In that way you have taken the power out of their hands and you have taken control of the situation for your own peace of mind.

  You then have power in your own mind over them and that is a plus for your well being.

  Just my 2 cents worth.

  Governments should not under-estimate the potential danger-health that the G.B.pose for the community of Jehovah`s Witnesses

  at that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

  all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.

  its not such a big stretch of the imagination to think that jim jones or david koresh used such reasoning to convince their followers to do what they did, to have absolute faith in what they were saying was from god.

  Its not such a big stretch of the imagination to think that Jim Jones or David Koresh used such reasoning to convince their followers to do what they did, to have absolute faith in what they were saying was from GOD

  Governments should be concerned about this growing trend to have blind faith in what religious leaders expect from their followers.

  It is well documented around the world how the Governing Body of Jehovah`s Witnesses have influenced their members to deny life saving blood transfusions for themselves and they will also go to great lengths to prevent their children from getting such life saving treatment.

  It`s just a matter of time before they cross the line and a tragedy occurs.

  All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not. (4)

  If that`s not a red flag for some impending potential human tragedy I don`t know what is.
