Keep warm CoCo it`s not conditions I would like to live under but to each his own
How about displaying a contrast photo from the same position so we can compare with no fog no cloud in a summer spring or autumn setting .
Just a thought.
i live in the sierra nevada foothills of california; a selling point for prospective homeowners in the slightly lower elevation is what is touted in the subject title.
well, right now we are being blasted by a storm barreling down from canada, with hazardous driving and blizzard conditions in the offing, higher up.. as to fog, this photo offers a rare display of misty conditions over our lake, that after the last major rain storm.
it reminds me of summer days of my youth on the pacific coast..

that was essentially my reply to a recent sms i got from the elder of the group i am supposed to be in, requesting a visit to encourage me and get to know me better.
my wife has been attending english language meetings in warsaw for the last year or so (i have never been) and i think they are getting antsy about where i stand.
i've met many of them at events my wife hosted at our house, but so far nobody has pressed me on the issue of my inactivity.. at one of the events, an elder mentioned that he'd heard i 'had been' a jw for many years and he was curious what first attracted me to the org.
I was a bit more blunt / tactless when a new former Elder in our book study group said something similar to me after a service meeting .
He had been in our group for quite a few months and never mixed with anybody in the group except with the Elder taking the group.
I said to him words to the effect that he had`t bothered to get to know us while attending the BS group so don`t bother coming to my home we don`t need your visit.
his response ? : A stunned mullet look.
It must have been the early stages of my awakening
Good post FTB
i met a wonderful man on match.com several months ago.
on our first date, there was amazing chemistry and we ended up having sex.
it was not planned, it just happened.
so this week's midweek meeting video about stumbling others has lett spouting and gurning rubbish again.. if you can't take the whole 9 minutes go from 5:50 to get the context and 6:45 for the "beard" mention.. https://youtu.be/ezv1ici5cwo.
oh, well - at least they shoot themselves in the foot with this doublespeak.
single.
I`m confused ? The organization is dead set against beards yet in their illustrations of the resurrected who rule with JC in heaven both men & women are shown as having beards ?

I agree with Doc now people do what they want to do regardless of any evidence to the contrary

a reason (and season) to stop shunning.

Jehovah never shunned Satan and neither did Jesus what does that tell you .?
i have yet to read about the contradictions in the jw teachings on blood, but i have personally witnessed one.
i am a medical professional and have seen hemopure administered for an active jw who did refuse a blood transfusion.
its not fda approved here, but given in special life saving circumstances.
i`m pretty certain the average Joe blow J.W would have no clue defending their no Blood policy in a state of emergency .
To anybody who asked , they would deflect these embarrassing questions to the Elders who would then contact the legal Department for clarification .
What does the latest Watchtower say about this ?
It has nothing to do with what the Bible says.
the bible passage at luke 15 speaks about being a "sheep who is lost".
the shepherd looks for and brings the sheep back into the fold.. the passage at matthew 13 speaks about the righteous being like wheat - kept separate from the weeds.. but, there is an inherent problem with both passages!
for what reason are the sheep saved?
All christian religions interpret scriptures as to what they want to believe the scripture to mean..
And not what the scripture`s actually say ..
And that explains why their are over 40,000 different Christian sects in the world today
And JW`s are no different from Christendom in this regard .

LOL though it`s oh so true every living thing on this planet keeps living by devouring some other living thing whether it`s on land sea or in the air.
And it has always been the case from time immemorial
i’m 71 years old now.
seven decades plus.
but, i put that in perspective owing to the fact that my older brother died in 1992 at the age of only 51. it was a very sobering time for me even though i was only 45 at the time.
The Bible says the wages of sin is death ,
Lazarus and a couple of others in the Bible died and were resurrected they paid for their sins right?
But they still died According to the Bible they should be still walking around among us but their not.
Death and taxes are the realities of life enjoy life while you can .
