I think it`s great news , curiosity is a normal trait of human thinking and if someone is telling me not to investigate something my immediate thought is what do they not want me to know ?

So the first thing I do is look at what they don`t want me to see. Bingo I see TTATT

Unfortunately there are still those who will not look at anything other than the borg site for fear of Satan taking over their brains.

I think that applies mainly to old timers and not so much with the younger generation of JW`s of today .

I tend to believe that the biggest exodus of JW`s is going to come from the younger generation in the near future.

Maybe you can`t teach an old dog new tricks however the younger generation are a different kettle of fish with the new technology of information /internet etc.

1 .Jehovah God with numbers 2, 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , and 8 I`ll let him off with number one after all he is God .

2. Jesus Christ with numbers All of the above 1-8 I can`t do the same with this guy

They both do qualify as leaders in their own right according to them don`t they ? and their followers ?

for a long time, i was convinced jehovah witnesses were just people preaching the word of god in a different way than other christians.

i was shown the real truth over the past few months.

i've been friends with this guy for over 5 years.

Kom197 ,You sound like an intelligent young woman who has her head firmly implanted on her shoulders whatever you do don`t prove me wrong by continuing to be involved with this guy whose thinking is torn between satisfying the Elders of his religion and his penis .

I`m sorry to put it so bluntly but that is what it boils down to.

Jehovah`s Witnesses believe a marriage is a three-fold unit , the bride ,the groom ,and Jehovah (read the Elders /Governing body / and WTB&TS organization )

I`m sorry you have wasted so much time with this guy.

And if you decide to stick it out with this guy and his religion you will be the loser .

By the way welcome to the forum you may have helped some other lurkers on here with your experience

OH and please keep us informed of your decision and how things pan out in your life as it can be a big help to others who may find themselves in a situation like yours.

Just politely tell them to FUCK OFF and mind your own business ,I find it frustrating that grown ups / adults allow themselves to be manipulated ,bullied,and controlled by other people .

Your a man grow some balls and stand up for yourself and your wife.and don`t let some wannabe somebody`s lord it over you.

As has been pointed out numerous times on this board the only power they have over you is the power you give them

Wake up and cut off their power .

If I sound harsh and blunt so be it ,sometimes you just have to be cruel to be kind.

So don`t pussy-foot around with them otherwise you will always be the victim

Will the Watchtower Company in the near future start asking for a tithe?

it appears that the borg has some financial issues and i would think they are related to the hush money being paid out for the child molestation lawsuits to protect the guilty cult members and the fine untarnished reputation of the jdubs.. we have seen how much the borg refers to the hebrew scriptures for their guiding principles whenever it suits the borg's needs.

tithing certainly is laced throughout the old testament.

under the mosaic law, there were three tithes.

It wouldn`t surprise me in the least though I don` t think they would call it a tithe they will come up with some other doozy name for it.

JW`s/GB have always criticized Christendom about how they collect money only to follow suit later on down the track.

Never will they ask or beg for money ,how is that going today ?

Never will they put in a system where you can use your credit card ,how is that going today ?

Cancelling all KH loans Yea went up the cry only to be told that each congregation can now donate that same amount indefinitely .

Not to mention the other gifts to the Society in wills , deceased estates , etc ,etc,.

Oh did I mention videos designed for children asking them to donate their ice cream money /pocket money towards the kingdom work ?

what splain does in his talk and chart illustration is make the leap that a generation can have two groups.

and in this case the two groups span more than 108 years.

but no where in scripture is there ever a notion that a generation has two groups.

I second what flipper has posted ,it just boggles my mind .WTF ?

Zalkin IS in possession of the WT documents naming thousands of potentially dangerous child molesters that were never reported to police authorities and these documents are under a " protective order " from the courts so these offenses cannot be discussed or shared with law enforcement agencies, reporters or the public. ??????

Something just does not add up here , how can this be possible ?

It has often been said that the law is an ASS ,this just seems to confirm it.

What kind of God is this JEHOVAH that he needs money that was invented by humans to manage their affairs among each other ?

When Jehovah God created all the mineral wealth in the world that humans and GOD put value on such as Diamonds,Gold ,Silver ,and a host of other precious metals and gemstones ?

Why can`t he just point his finger to a rich deposit to the Governing Body and just say hey dig here .!

And the Almighty God Jehovah wants / begs for paper /plastic money to further kingdom interests ?
