A.N.Z.A.C. Day 25th APRIL

the 25th april is the day australia and new zealand remember their war dead.. on the 25th april 1915 troops from many nations including australian and new zealanders landed on the shores of turkey.

the anzac forces at a place called gallipoli or galliboli by the turkish people.. the concept was to land move inland attack constantinople and there by force turkey out of the war (1914-1918) and bring it too a swift end.

the whole operation was a monumental stuff up with the anzacs being landed in the wrong place up against steep cliffs.

The 25th April is the day Australia and New Zealand remember their war dead.

So out of respect for the Aussies and Kiwis who fought and died the 25th remembers them and all servicemen and women who were killed in wars and 'peace-keeping' operations.

I was one of the "lucky " ones who was balloted out of being called up for national service when I was 18 years old in 1957 and was "saved" from being sent to Vietnam.I wasn`t a J.W. then either .

I do have a lot of pride and respect for those who did serve in one capacity or another in both the World Wars whether they were male or female .

If not for them who knows what type of Government or tyranny I would be living under if not for the sacrifices they made at the time to prevent those invaders from succeeding.

Thank you to the men and women who gave their lives so that we could live the " freedom" we take for granted today.

JW Christians Are Supposed to be Good, BUT.....

so, serving "the one true god" and being "in the truth" are supposed to make jw's better people.

they are bringing their "truth" to people and that probably makes them feel that they are good to "worldly" people.but they do it to "get their time in.

" they do it no longer in any life-saving mentality.

As one Elders wife said to my wife many years ago when she was going through a difficult time of meeting all of the requirements expected of her ," you dont have to be actually doing all of these things you just have to "seem" to be doing all that is required .

JEHOVAH - The biggest racist in history!?

many people like to boast about “jehovah being loving and impartial toward all”.

there are even scriptures that say words to that effect.. however, if we look at just his actual conduct and actions , and not accept the words supposedly written by his apologetic “bible writers”, the facts tell us something else!.

firstly, he chose one special nation and race of people.

When I first heard or read somewhere here that Jehovah was a genocidal ,homicidal maniac that relished in the shedding of blood both animal and human ,I was shocked and appalled at such a thought !

However all I had to do was see the Bible verses for myself without the rose coloured glasses I must have had on as a JW.

Withdrawing community support in the congs

i've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.

counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.

if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.

So if they don't help people spiritually, emotionally or practically like a clergyman would, what is their function!

They like the label of being called an "Elder" not that they have a "Clergy Class" of course

Or are you subjects of a dictatorship ? Do the rank and file Jw`s have a say in the belief system of the religion ?

Or are they dictated to as to what they are to believe.

If they disagree with some belief are they given a hearing ear ? or not.

No they are told to OBEY what the G.B.of J.W.`s say or face the consequences .

If they persevere in challenging a belief held by the G.B.of Jehovah`s Witnesses they will be shunned and dis-fellowshiped from the congregation.

So my point is J.W.`s are under a totalitarian rule ,not theocratic and not autocratic.but Totalitarian .

Jesus Christ fully supports his "father" Jehovah who was a genocidal, homicidal maniac who took delight in shedding the blood of millions of humans and animals as portrayed in his Holy Written Word the Bible .NWT. of the Hebrew Scriptures / Old Testament.

And is Jesus Christ really any different ? despite what many claim ?

Jesus came not to bring peace but to bring a sword to many. ( paraphrased }

Jesus would pit father against mother child against parents etc.etc.( paraphrased )

Jesus as the newly enthroned King in the Heavens is going to destroy Billions at Armageddon.

And when the thousand years are ended Jehovah with the approval of Jesus Christ are going to slaughter millions more according to the book of Revelation.Rev.20 .7-9 .

they both seem to have a lust for blood

can you imagine what the world of mankind would be like if their was never any concept of a god or religious beliefs ?.

for the love of me i can`t ,maybe i don`t have an imaginative mind equipped well enough to do so .. how about you guys ?

Thank you for all your comments when i reflect on the subject I suppose it was a rather silly topic because while Religion can be divisive ,destructive ,alienate people ,so does race / colour ,politics ,and nationalism .

None of which are going away anytime soon if ever.

And while Jesus may have" preached love" for neighbor on the one hand he also said he would" not put peace on the earth but a sword"

And Jesus was fully behind his God Jehovah who taught his followers to commit genocide on their neighbors in the O.T.

in perth western australia the watchtower have sold a kingom hall to hindus for $2 million aust dollars and they have a second one up for sale in the same area embleton .

Aren`t the Organization of Jehovah`s Witnesses supporting "Babylon the Great" both financially and materially with this sale ?

Yet if a rank & file member of J.W.`s attends any other than their own religious building for any reason he/she could be disfellowshiped or at best counselled for doing so.

Anti-JW movie on Netflix?

i'm watching the new netflix movie "come sunday".

it's one more film about a person who has turning point in life that demands the person to reevaluate his own faith and belief system.

in this case, the man is a petencostal bishop that gets very famous and has a big church preaching about salvation to heaven and punishment in hell.

I think we may be surprised as to how many would watch such a movie or series .The younger generation of J.W.`s are not as indoctrinated as many think .

From my experience and talking to my sons many ,and I mean many of the young, live double lives , pleasing their families putting in appearances at meetings even doing token field service etc, however not fully committed .

They watch movies whether they be R or X rated without their parents knowledge ,go to disco`s and night clubs without their parents knowledge and get pissed on Alcohol to excess all behind their parents back and front up on Sundays at the meetings and may even comment .

So don`t under-estimate the youth in the J.W.religion ,they are a ticking time bomb for the religion.

They do what they want to do and won`t be dictated to by anybody ,G.B.,Elders , or parents .

Jehovah ,Christ Jesus don`t even come into the equation .
