Does it apply that in Bulgaria like the rest of the world that a Baptized minor/child is an ordained minister of the religion of Jehovah`s Witnesses ?

Clarification on Blood in Bulgaria
by Mad Sweeney init's been established that the wt convinced the bulgarian government that there are "no sanctions" on jws who accept blood transfusions, in order to obtain legal recognition by that government.
my question is this:.
does the wt actually now allow bulgarian jws to accept blood transfusions without consequence?.

Reclaimed voices respond to jw.org's recent public statement regarding the Dutch governments decision to investigate
by Diogenesister ini'm so sorry if this has already been posted but i think its too important and interesting to miss.. reclaimed voices chairman raymond hintjies responds to jw.orgs dutch lawyer's statement that the dutch govt.
investigating watchtower's 300 incidents of csa would be akin to"shooting a mosquito with a water cannon" .
i particularly like raymond's sensitive message to concerned jw parents, at around 3 minutes or so, .

I watched this video and thought the content was very good however a slight criticism making sure that JW,isms are clearly spelled out for non J.W`s to understand in other words speak in a language that the general public understand because that is who you want to reach and not just J.W.`s.
Also it would come across as more professional if he had on at least a casual or business shirt and not a T-shirt.
presentation means a lot guys , really and to dress sloppy takes away from the message .
Just my 2 cents worth .

Have Artifical Intelligence Run A Site That Deprograms Jehovah's Witnesses
by Brokeback Watchtower inwith all this talk about ai taking over jobs and finding cures by feeding it proper input data and a whole host of other tasks why not have scientist put up a site run by artificial intelligence to deprogram people from cults and offer them counseling as what to do after leaving the mind control cult.. i know this might be a very touchy place to put ai i think it would offer scientist working with ai to test its capabilities and do a public service at the same time.. perhaps offer it honestly to the public who are having doubts about a specific organization that is unduly controlling their lives.. and great if that would pass a turing test:.

When Alan Turing first proposed this test was way back in 1950 some 68 years ago and today we are nowhere near coming up with anything remotely close to what he was proposing back then .
So I think your saying something along these lines could be possible within ten years is extremely unlikely as to be near impossible.
Have you considered all the negatives about such a test ?
Personally I think if anything like this ever happened we would be just creating a real life BORG that would make Star Treks Borg look like a pussy.

Lies! Since the Watchtower knows how to lie, they can give expert advice on it.
by days of future passed instudy article for october: speaking the truth.
the article is about lying, but the wt is all about lying.
i guess they are concerned with their followers lying to them!.

Isn`t "Theocratic Warfare" that Jehovah`s Witnesses engage in a form of lying ? Hiding the truth from people THEY don`t feel deserves it ?
And didn`t Jehovah God lie when he told Adam that in the day that he (or Eve ) ate of the fruit of good and bad they will surely die ?
They didn`t die on that day at all Adam lived till he was 930 ?or their abou`t
Satan told the truth when he said they wouldn`t die on the day they ate the fruit.

Anybody here still believe in the bible?
by Mel Morris ini'm a current bible student of jw's looking to chat with someone about biblical doctrine.
i'm not interested in talking with an apostate or a fader, i'm just a person looking for answers and wondered if there are any neutral voices in this forum who have good insights into the bible.
i currently talk with a couple of jw's on a personal level from my congregation and they are knowledgeable to a certain extent, but i dare not ask them certain questions because, as you know, the congregation has a culture of fear that impacts trust and openness, especially concerning biblical doctrine or the societies teachings.

Once local elders get successfully sued, the whole thing shuts down real fast
The big gaping hole through which their money is being drained by sexual abuse lawsuits.
Google
The INTERNET
Their own literature (the older the better)
These are all good points ,any other points to share ?
How about Theocratic Warfare biting them back on the bum?
Being successfully challenged for lying or at least giving misleading information on oath E.G. the Australian Royal Commission into Institutionalized Child Sexual Abuse by the Australian Governing body member G.Jackson and the Attorney Vin Toole a JW in their employ..

Do You Typically Accept The Press As Being Unbiased And Honest?
by minimus inthere is more “ yellow journalism “ than ever before!
newscasters and writers that you thought were trustworthy often miss the mark.. do you generally accept the “news” as being honest?.

News as it is reported today either by the press ,the TV , or radio/Wireless is governed by RATINGS and SENSATIONALISM first and foremost .
And of course by the first to break the news fake or otherwise and we will deal with the flack afterward .

This Article Won't Change Your Mind - Great Read
by cofty inthis article won’t change your mind - the facts on why facts alone can’t fight false beliefs.
brilliant article in the atlantic by julie beck discussing the phenomena of cognitive dissonance and how it affects religious and political beliefs.
it includes some interesting thoughts on how social media has magnified the problem.. spoiler - she is not optimistic about the possibility of successfully reasoning with members of religious cults.. the article also has a link to the 45 minute audio version.. link....

Have you ever considered how bizarre the idea of "War in Heaven" really is?
by TerryWalstrom inwhen you grow up and look back on childhood belief you have to laugh at how.
easter bunnies and santa were all too plausible for children because trusted adults who were otherwise unimpeachable sources of truth and reality assured and reassured kids.
why wouldn't they accept it?jehovah's witness kids didn't have santa, we had armageddon.only this morning i suddenly asked myself why i ever accepted the idea of a war in heaven as even remotely sane.

I don`t get this focus in the book of Revelation that Satan and presumably his Demons being cast out of Heaven and cast down to the earth after a war in heaven that J.W`s believe happened around 1918-19 ?
According to the Bible in both the O.T and the N.T. Satan and his Demons have ALWAYS been active causing mayhem down here on the earth for Centuries ?
So what the bloody hell was different ?
The real question we should be asking is ....Why was Satan and his Demons allowed to reside in heaven at all after they rebelled in Eden ? and apparently so for thousands of years up until 1919 and coming and going apparently as they pleased even before the presence of Jehovah God. ?
Jehovah never shunned him and neither did his son Jesus according to scripture.
As attested to in the Scriptures
