  How do you feel about your "Bible studies" now?

  i'm not sure how best to ask this question because of my personal experience-- long story short, i was discovered through informal witnessing back in college.

  i was lonely, away from family, and was touched by the attention and care that was shown to me.

  during the course of many years i became very very close with the sister conducting the study even though we were thousands of miles away.

  She told me that she has given plenty of advice to me for so many years and that it depends on me acting on what I know is the right thing to do

  That says it all , in other words if you can`t commit to being a JW after all I have done for you ,then you are a lost cause .

  Are the G.B.members really good business people ?

  if i was an author of a book i think i would be over the moon if i was guaranteed a sale of around 5 million or more books for my work.. the jehovah`s witnesses have over 8 million members plus relatives that are fringe dwellers who come to the memorial once a year ,.

  so what a gold mine they have been sitting on as a publishing house .. why didn`t they keep publishing books for the faithful ,they could have even upped the price , and the faithful would have paid especially in prosperous country`s in the west.. they could have milked this venture for years to come as the faithful would have bought anything they would have published .. and their prophets (profits) would have soared ,literally and figuratively for many more years to come ..

  New World Translation Releases

  in the last few weeks, i have noticed in (jw.org) the nwt has had new releases in some local languages.. today, i read this: "the new world translation of the christian greek scriptures was released in the kabiye language on december 16, 2018, in kara, togo.

  on the same day, in madrid, spain, the books of matthew and john from the new world translation were released in spanish sign language.

  the new world translation has been translated in whole or in part into 178 languages.".

  And of course the only persons who are going to purchase these books are Jehovah`s Witnesses who speak these languages .

  An almost guaranteed sell out of all that is produced .$$$$$$$

  My message to those who have always placed heavy burdens on its members

  in this kingdom hall photo, there will be some members who will probably leave the organization.

  some will stay and suffer just to be with family.

  i feel sad for those who stay just to please the family.

  I concur with everything you said R&R , and may I add, all of their wasted lives slaving for a man made American Publishing and Real Estate Corporation posing as a Religion fleecing the flock of all of their money and valuable assets by dangling the carrot of Armageddon and Paradise before their eyes ,which is always just out of reach .

  at a very recent circuit assembly (usa), the accounts overseer gave the typical accounts report for the ca in the early afternoon.

  there were 2100 people at the assembly.

  RIP Penny ,

  She may have come across as a bit of a Bimbo in L& S ,however she must have had a head on her shoulders to become a successful director worth about 45Million dollars at the time of her death.

  My wife was a fan of their show as a bit of escapism from JWISM

  It must have been when i was winding down from from the religion at a four day Convention because on this Saturday Arvo was an AFL grand final and I snuck off to the local pub to watch it and came back after it finished .

  For some reason in OZ many Conventions clashed with an AFL grand final.

  This is going back 30 or 40 years ago now.

  In those days many attendants had radios stuck to their ears listening to the footy scores during the Convention.

  as they were walking around the grounds during security watch.

  Coming out of the Woodwork

  who was i to think that we would be left alone?

  it has been a dream for 2+ months.

  a few calls i let go to voicemail but now the wife and i are getting bombarded with text messages.. this isn't going to be easy.. since we're not looking to throw a grenade into decades of relationships, text replies thus far have been..."thank you so much.".
