  How do you deal with the emotions of waking up? ---my ramble -----

  i am just wondering how you have constructively worked through the emotions of waking up?

  i am trying hard to be positive, and i know life is a gift.

  Looking back at some of your past posts I see that your wife is still pretty much PIMI and that can be very tricky for you when trying to educate your children about TTATT and protect them from cult thinking.

  I don`t envy you being in that position it must be extremely hard and I dont really know what advice I could give you to alleviate the problem except to say take small steps ,many of us here have made the mistake of trying to wake somebody up far too quickly with disasterous results.

  My thoughts are with you .

  I have coins in my pocket of various denominations they all have one/ two things in common ,they all have a circle and they are all flat ,not a sphere among them .

  why aren't more witness men like this?

  Deborah was a prophetess and Judge of Israel with the approval of Jehovah .

  She taught she judged she must have been an amazing woman Judges Chapt. 4

  Jehovah doesn`t change so the Bible says.

  So why shouldn`t their be women in roles that are presently only allowed for men? in congregations ?

  And why isnt their a woman or two on the Governing Body to balance out the male ego`s of the present GB.?

  Deborah was blessed by Jehovah for her service maybe the GB should take note and make the needed changes .

  But then again since when have they been influenced by what the Bible actually says .?

  there is something realy wrong if you have to tell your church members what to report to who when child abuse happens.. g..

  The trouble was and maybe still is,is that Child sexual abuse was considered a sin and not a crime in JW land .

  Hard to believe that may be ,but it is the truth and does not in any way alleviate the seriousness of the sin of omission committed by Elders who sat on judicial committees dealing with such cases and not reporting it to the appropriate authorities regardless of whether it was a mandated requirement or not.

  Ethically and morally they should have reported such abuse to the authorities when it came to their notice.

  They failed the victims.

  Everybody holding a bible, Jackson holding maybe Kingdom Interlinear version to make sure all is right,

  If he is then he should look more closely at the forward which states that Yahweh not Jehovah is more likely the correct pronunciation of the Divine name.

  So the GB of JW`s are knowingly promoting a false name of God in their Worldwide Ministry .

  The book "Aid To Bible Understanding" virtually said the same thing that Yahweh was the more correct pronunciation, however they stuck with the false name for God because it was the most popular name in Christendom.

  Here is where Jehovah`s Witnesses speak out of both sides of their mouth .

  They have always claimed that Christendom has tried to hide the name of God from their parishioner`s.

  Why is the name Jehovah engraved in stone on so many Christian Churches throughout the world going back Centuries ? if they were trying to hide that name ?

  Jehovah`s Witnesses apparently follow the Roman Catholics as it is the 13th Century Spanish Monk Justin Martinus who first coined the name Jehovah as the name for the God of the Tetragrammaton YHWH or JHVH

  Infiltrated Elders?

  so i'm watching john cedars commentary on the annual meeting from this last october, and at one point he shows a clip of garrett loesch talking about the struggles jehovah's witnesses faced decades before in the soviet union.

  he claimed that police officers, maybe the kgb, infiltrated congregations which met in secret by studying with jehovah's witnesses, getting baptized, and then working their way up to becoming elders.

  ceders jokes that this shows what kind of role holy spirit actually plays within body of elders, but another interpretation came to my mind just now.

  I remember hearing those statements many years ago about Commies infiltrating the org.working their way up the ranks to spy and become like a fifth column movement within the organization.

  I think its just another ploy to get the R&F all worked up about how they and they only have the "truth" and the Govt`s go to extreme lengths to persecute them.

  Its not unlike many years ago when the org .threw a cat among the pigeons in the congregations implying that their were weak brothers & sisters in the congregations that needed to be "marked" because they could be a danger to ones spirituality so have little contact with them until they prove their Christian maturity .

  Haven`t they also said in times past that the Govts could print fake Watchtowers to mislead the faithful ? I remember that.

  Its all about control & FOG keep the JW`s on their toes persecution can come from anywhere.

  Just keep trusting the GB as the F&DS and you will be fine.
