Domestic abuse.

I got my invite today for a "Special" talk that has already been given 3-4 days ago ?

Of course I`m referring to the invitation to the Annual commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ Friday April 19,2019.

However the brochure also advertises a "Special" talk that is to be given

"Reach out For The Real Life" on Sunday April 14 2019 which took place 4 days ago.?

You would think they would redact that in light that it has already past but no,not this lot.

As a side note : keeping in mind the GB members 12 bottles of top shelf Whiskey,

the address of the KH is 87 beveridges Road Lakes Entrance .

I thought that was funny.

The illustration given of that last supper shows only 10 people ?

And i noticed it was printed in Japan.

Thoughts anyone ?

Have You Been Invited To This Year’s Memorial ?

last year was the first time i didn’t get an invitation to the lord’s evening meal.

i think they finally gave up on me..

Hooray ! We recieved our invite today, sadly though I was sitting on the throne when they knocked on the door and mrs smiddy didn`t know who it was and wasn`t dressed to answer it .Was ealy in the morning.

Something that struck me as funny in light of the Tony Morris & his twelve bottles of booze.

The address of the KH is in Beveridges Road and the "Special" Bible talk to be given on Sunday is

"Reach Out For The Real Life"

to be given on Sunday april the 14th 2019 at 10:00 am

Which is well and truly past ? WTF ? Giving you an invite to a talk that has already been given ?

And in the illustration their are only 10 people shown including Jesus apparently.

And the invitation is printed in Japan.

Is it just me or is their something seriously wrong with these people ?

i gave a chocolate to the bank staff and another shop with the greeting of 'happy easter'.. i always considered easter to be a time of reflection, especially so as in the southern hemisphere the weather is often dull.. best wishes unto you all..

The recent "Special " talk ,how many times was the name JEHOVAH mentioned VS the name JESUS

the jehovah`s witnesses have long charged christendom`s religions falsely i might add of hiding the name of god jehovah /yahweh from their congregants ,by not using it or putting that name on the back burner so to speak ,and just using it minimally .. i`m just wondering if the jehovah`s witnesses /wtb&ts are actually guilty themselves of doing the very same thing with the name of jesus.. in the nwt of the bible 1984 edition i have in the section bible words indexed they have the name jehovah listed 80+ times ,.

however the name jesus is listed less than twenty times .. while i concede the bulk of the bible is contained by the o.t./hebrew scriptures and the n.t./christian greek scriptures are a smaller portion of the bible jehovah`s witness theology do place a lot more emphasis on jehovah than they do with jesus.. arent they guilty of trying to downplay the role of jesus christ in christianity ?

and exulting the name of jehovah which by the way goes against the christian teaching .phillipians 2:9-11.

Can JW`s or anybody else for that matter name one scripture in the New Testament where Christians were called to be Jehovah`s Witnesses ? ..... just one ?

However their are twenty or so scriptures that state Christians are to be witnesses of Jesus in the NT.

Acts 11:26b ' ...and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians " ...by divine providence mind you , they were called Christians not Jehovah`s Witnesses.

I`m surprised at you SBF in using Acts 4:10 while acknowledging that " in the name of Jesus Christ...and that their is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved"

you resort to the meaning of Jesus name to imply that scripture is bearing a witness for the name of Jehovah .

Nowhere in the KI word for word translation into English published by the WT in 1969 of the New Testament is the Tetragrammaton found the four Hebrew letters for Gods name nor do they appear in Greek.

Yet that name Jehovah appears in the NWT of the bible in the NT.section. Another dishonesty.

Isaiah 62:2b ..."And you will actually be called by a new name which the very mouth of Jehovah will designate"

And that name proved to be "Christians" followers of Jesus Christ .Acts 11:26b ....by divine providence.

special talk

yesterday was the premiere, at least in our hall.

the special talk was given first time before the memorial and on stream, not live.. must haven been outstanding, right ?

well.... it was a rather underwhelming experience, nothing special.

And this was a "Special" talk given to the already baptised ones ? with maybe some pre-teens who havent been baptised yet ?

Pressure ,pressure ,pressure ,to get children baptised to boost the numbers.

So what questions should I be asking?

so i am still trying to help my husband realize ttatt.

.. “are you okay with jehovah killing your mom, sister, nephew (non-witnesses) at armageddon?”.

Ask him if he knows that the name for GOD JEHOVAH was invented by a Spanish catholic Monk in the 13th Century.

This Spanish Catholic Monk translated the Hebrew Tetragrammaton `s 4 letters into Latin /English JHVH / YHWH

and added some vowels to those 4 letters and that`s why we today have JEHOVAH / YAHWEH for God`s name .

Is he also aware that the "Aid To Bible Understanding" first edition stated that they chose the name JEHOVAH because that was the most popular name for God in the world ?

Popular by whom ? Christendom of course who else is going to be using GOD`s name.

Centuries old churches have the name Jehovah engraved on them in Europe and here in Australia and elsewhere.

The JW religion lyingly said Christendom tries to hide the name of GOD and nothing could be further from the truth.

It is used widely in Christendom and has been for Centuries.
