Enjoyed the Memorial

probably not a popular opinion on here....and haven't been actively attending meetings since 1988....(i know i know a submarine attender) however thoroughly enjoyed attending this evening...was good to see lots of people i remember whilst growing up in this faith, they were genuine and the whole atmosphere was one of love.

sure if i suddenly wanted to become active again and didn't change my lifestyle they would drop me like a bomb.....however i haven't and won't and they didn't and don't.

this works for me.. i cannot demonize the witnesses on what i have seen tonight.

So their are more than one God ,he / she obviously had peers.

for the first time in almost 30 years, i am not attending the memorial tonight.

instead, i am spending the evening at home, celebrating with a glass of scotch.

so my husband asked me if i’m going to the memorial.

i said “no”.. he asked would it be okay if i take the kids.

I can only give you my 2 cents worth that also helps you .I know its not easy .

So here goes :

The G.B.of jehovah`s Witnesses claim that God -Jehovah approved them as the "true' religion and rejected all other religions around the time of 1919 on what the International bible Students as they were then known under Charles Taze Russell were teaching.

The thing is ,if that were true and Jesus christ /Jehovah God did in fact approve of all the teachings that the IBSA preached and taught all of those years ago in 1919 and approved them on that basis .

Then i`m sorry but Jesus Christ /Jehovah God would have to reject them today as his "true religion " simply because the Jehovah`s Witness religion does not preach or believe what they taught back in 1919.

So simply stated if they were approved by God in 1919 on what they believed and taught and now in 2019 they reject as old light what they taught in 1919 and not applicable today ,they would be rejected by Jehovah God and Christ Jesus as the true religion.

they can`t have it both ways .

The difference of walking into a Cathedral contrasted with a walking into a Kingdom hall their is no competition.

The Cathedral wins hands down .

Their is no real comparison ,Kingdom Halls are more like and feel like community centres ,

Whereas the traditional Churches / Cathedrals give out that spiritual divine feeling of reverence that you certainly don`t experience in a KH.

Churches / Cathedrals give off this reverance , of spirituality ,holiness ,something sacred about the place a place to worship God .

On the other hand Kingdom halls are just like market places ,community centres ,nothing sacred or spiritual about them at all .

I would go as far to say I believe Muslim / Islam places of worship are far more Spiritual than kingdom halls are.

The fact that Tony Morris enjoys an alcoholic drink like whiskey which is not wrong in itself, however surely will give the R&F the impetus that they too can go full tank now that its out their in the public domain that a GB member can do it so ,why cant we ?

That`s all the excuse they need.

Alcoholic problems are going to escalate in the Jehovah`s Witness ranks in the next few years .

How Do They Chose Someone To Be A Member Of The Illustrious Governing Body?

i'm mean were talking making someone a policy maker for the corporation that can have serious financial consequences.

i'm sure intelligence is not high on the priority list for this noble office being they hate higher education and consider it a waste of time.. i'm sure they would thoroughly know the party line as any self respecting mind control would never choose an original thinker.

i'm also sure a lot of ass kissing happens before one gets chosen as a ass wiping helper which seem to be a sort of initiation into governing body corporate politics and a sort of proving ground to show your determination protect the organization from the enemy be they what ever source.

Domestic abuse.

my husband targeted me as a jw and managed to isolate, manipulate and control me for 15 years.

I got my invite today for a "Special" talk that has already been given 3-4 days ago ?

Of course I`m referring to the invitation to the Annual commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ Friday April 19,2019.

However the brochure also advertises a "Special" talk that is to be given

"Reach out For The Real Life" on Sunday April 14 2019 which took place 4 days ago.?

You would think they would redact that in light that it has already past but no,not this lot.

As a side note : keeping in mind the GB members 12 bottles of top shelf Whiskey,

the address of the KH is 87 beveridges Road Lakes Entrance .

I thought that was funny.

The illustration given of that last supper shows only 10 people ?

And i noticed it was printed in Japan.

Thoughts anyone ?

last year was the first time i didn’t get an invitation to the lord’s evening meal.

i think they finally gave up on me..

Hooray ! We recieved our invite today, sadly though I was sitting on the throne when they knocked on the door and mrs smiddy didn`t know who it was and wasn`t dressed to answer it .Was ealy in the morning.

Something that struck me as funny in light of the Tony Morris & his twelve bottles of booze.

The address of the KH is in Beveridges Road and the "Special" Bible talk to be given on Sunday is

to be given on Sunday april the 14th 2019 at 10:00 am

Which is well and truly past ? WTF ? Giving you an invite to a talk that has already been given ?
