What is the current policy on blood?
by stillin inhas there been anything recent?
the last i knew, certain fractions were considered a conscience matter.
blood derived vaccinations were cleared, saying that the blood part has been removed.

can you just imagine JESUS being asked these questions with regard to the BLOOD issue ? that Jehovah`s Witnesses have made such an issue out of ?
King Davids men went to eating meat that wasn`t bled according to Jewish law and yet they received no punishment according to the law because their life was at stake .They were in fear / danger of starving to death if they didn`t get the required sustenance to keep living in a relatively short period of time.
Jehovah did not condemn them or even made them do some penance for violating that law WHY ?
Because their life was at stake.
Didn`t Jesus make the same point in breaking the Sabbath if your sheep or goat was in a situation where it might die you would go out and save it ?

New Light on the 144,000?
by Ding insomeone on facebook is claiming to have reliable information that the gb is about to announce new light on the 144,000 -- that it's symbolic, not literal.. one person suggested that they will retain the two-class teaching and just change the meaning of 144,000. his idea was that the change would avoid three problems with the current teaching:.
1. embarrassment over more and more partakers at the memorial when the number should be getting less and less.. 2. embarrassment over 12 symbolic 12,000s somehow equaling a literal 144,000.. 3. solving the problem of running out of "anointed" ones who are old enough to be on the gb.. thoughts?.

I bawled my eyes out when I had to put Lilly ( our toy poodle ) and our cat daisy who adopted us out of their misery and send them to pet heaven a few years ago now .
My wife & I still talk about them with love in our hearts.

"Send Me No Flowers" was one of my favourite movies of her with rock Hudson & Tony Randall and not forgetting her role in the Alfred Hitchcok`s "the Man Who Knew Too Much"

Maybe its bureaucracy that`s going to be the undoing of the JW religion after all , Elders not doing there jobs , MS ,not doing there jobs ,and down the chain the rank and file not doing their jobs , because they are just so worn out with the never ending just around the corner ,its imminent , so soon now ,any day now , last days, even hours and minutes away in Jehovah`s time frame .
What is that supposed to mean ?
"A thousand years to Jehovah is like one day"
"And a day to Jehovah is like one thousand years" .
So by those thoughts Armageddon and the great Tribulation could still be hundreds if not thousands of years away still.
Do Jehovah`s Witnesses ever think for themselves ? and not rely on the GB/WT to think for them ?
