Zealous preaching

i've been away from all things jobo for years.

i have little interest in them...perhaps some slight interest due to being raised in the corporation.. in my day, the preaching work was hammered into us relentlessly.

we felt obligated to go door knocking as much as possible.

They can only cry wolf so many times and then the urgency / interest wanes .

If you or I saw a tall story apartment building on fire would we just go dawdling along D2D in that building commenting on how nice it was that they have a couple of kids ,how well they look after the place ,and that we can see our loved ones once again who have died ,and that their is a hope for the future that no man can give us ?

Only Jehovah God can by means of Christ Jesus ?

OH and by the way this building is on fire .

Does the GB/WT now ,ever talk about 6,000 years of human history ?

in c.t.russell`s time it was supposed to have ended in the late 1880`s ,when jesus christ was supposed to have returned in 1874 ,and armageddon was to have happened in 1914 according to wt publications back then .. around about 1968/9 they amended that time frame to the year 1975 as the end of 6000 years of human history ,and they said in their publications that it would be an appropriate time for christ jesus to begin his 1000 year rule over the earth.. which would align with wt teaching that a creative day was 7,000 years long.. i think the book was "life everlasting in freedom of the sons of god " wtb&ts .

my question is : do they still talk about 6,000 of human history ?.

do they still talk about 7,000 years as a creative day ?

Or are these questions just something else that the GB/JW have let slide under the radar not to be talked about anymore.

And try to deny it as apostate lies ,even though it is in there own literature for all to see.

And you can`t wake a JW up if they are not ready for it.

In my very early years as a JW I read the book "Thirty years a WatchTower Slave" and I brushed it off.

About 30 years later I read Ray Franz book COC and brushed it off as a disgruntled nephew of Fred Franz.

Another 3 years later I was on my way out.

However it is a good letter and I hope it does produce the result you hope for as we all do here.

At least seeds have been planted if he in fact does read it all.

i had this article pop up about the darksilver case.

it says a federal magistrate in san francisco has now ruled that darksilver can remain anonymous but then it says except for identification to lawyers for the religion’s watchtower publication.

I thought Vincent Toole had his registration removed by the Australian law society due to serious misconduct (e.g not reporting child abuse), after appearing in the ARC.

Can this be verified by anyone ? I think its too good to be true joe134cd though I would be happy if it was true.

The same as I don`t believe any of the Elders who sat on JC of child sexual abuse and never reported the crime to any of the appropriate authorities have ever been charged for failing to do so even though the ARC knew of over 1006 cases involving up to 3018 elders.?

Why not ?

Very true SB ,my question now would be does the judge have a bias towards the JW religion maybe she has family members that are Jw`s ,its a possibility / probability .?

They are only human too you know .

don adams took over for milton henschel in 2000 when the governing body cut all corporate ties, and when he died robert ciranko took over for him in 2014.. the next major corporation in line is the one word "watchtower" society of new york.

the jw's first black corporate president, leon weaver jr., was president of this one up until recently.

A couple of things that came to my mind :

How many times should you forgive your brother ? seven times ? no seventy seven times.

The prodigal son : Did he have to stay out in the barn for twelve months or more before he was accepted back into the family ?

Do not be judging one another .

He/she who is without sin you cast the first stone.

And if you come up with scriptures that contradict or challenge what I have said here ,what does that tell you about the Bible.

My question is : What individual or body of individuals have control over the millions of dollars that the JW/WT religion have made from all of these sell offs of property in Brooklyn /New York State ?

Is it the G.B. members / lawyers ? that control all of this money together or who ?

Human nature being what it is someone has their finger in the pie .

Anthony Morris buys 12 bottles of top shelf scotch worth over $800 ,that`s only one thing we have stumbled upon what else has been going on all of these years , what else have the other G.B. members been doing skimming the cream off the top.living the life only you and I can dream about ?

call me a cynic but I wouldn`t put anything past them .
