  Thinking about moving to Texas

  i need to do something to get my mind off my girls.

  so, i'm thinking about becoming a travel nurse.

  i can keep my house here, and they would pay for my living expenses while i'm on assignment.

  One thing to consider about Texas, it is the mold capital! If you have allergies, this is not the place to be.

  We moved here in June and the whole family has been sick with allergies, sinus and ear infections, etc.

  We had air ducts cleaned and lots of mold was found. Our houses are going up for sale and we are heading

  for dryer air. I never saw so many people with allergies. We are north of Houston and everyone I talk to 

  has allergies it seems. Of course, the hurricanes blow a lot of mold around, too. And there is cedar allergies

  in the central and eastern state.

  And taxes are high here!

  The state is OK if you do not have to breathe.

  in fact, the only two groups of people who work in america anymore are white people, and mexicans.

  hell, they ("they" in this case being the govt., i gather, but i'm unclear on exactly what govt.

  My husband works at Home Depot here in TX and I am delighted to say that none of the Home Depot employees I have met have such opinions and I do not seem to be meeting many Bush supporters either. They do seem to feel that the way things are dragging on in Iraq is causing their opinion of Bush to go down the Home Depot various brands of toilets.

  I had been in a couple of accidents and in each case it was not my fault at all. The other drivers came at me like I had a target on my car, or in one case, on my school bus. I felt like I was a big target for quite awhile. I haven't had an accident now for over 5 years so maybe it is safe to change my name

  My son is an only child-32 years old now. He also preferred the company of older children and adults. He was mature for his age as a result. Seeing his two boys fight and argue all the time makes me appreciate having had only one.

  I came from a large family and hated it. I felt lost in the crowd and felt no one cared if I was around.

  Only children tend to succeed in life too.

  IDIOTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

  I live in a semi-rural area. We
  recently had a new neighbor call the local township administrative
  office to request the removal of the Deer Crossing sign on our road. The
  reason: "too many deer were being hit by cars" and he didn't want them
  to cross there anymore. This one was from Kingman, KS
  ______________________________________________________ IDIOTS IN FOOD SERVICE: My daughter went to a local Taco Bell and
  ordered a taco. She asked the person behind the counter for "minimal
  lettuce." He said he was sorry, but they only had iceberg. And he was
  a Kansas City chef! IDIOT SIGHTING: I was at the airport, checking in at the gate when
  an airport employee asked, "Has anyone put anything in your baggage
  without your knowledge?
  
  To which I replied, "If it was without my knowledge, how would I
  know?
  
  He smiled knowingly and nodded, "That's why we ask." Happened in
  Birimingham, Ala.

  when it's safe to cross the street. I was crossing
  with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine
  when she asked if I knew what the buzzer was for. I
  explained that it signals blind people when the light
  is red. Appalled, she responded, "What on earth are
  blind people doing driving?!" She was a probation
  officer in Wichita, KS

  IDIOT SIGHTING: At a good-bye luncheon for an old and
  dear coworker who was leaving the company due to
  "downsizing," our manager commented cheerfully, "this
  is fun. We should do this more often." Not a word was
  spoken. We all just looked at each other with that
  deer-in-the-headlights stare. This was a bunch at
  Texas Instruments.
  ________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: I work with an individual who plugged
  her power strip back into itself and for the life of
  her couldn't understand why her system would not turn
  on. A deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff's office
  no less.
  ____________________________________________________ IDIOT SIGHTING: When my husband and I arrived at an
  automobile dealership to pick up our car, we were told
  the keys had been locked in it. We went to the service
  department and found a mechanic working feverishly to
  unlock the driver's side door. As I watched from the
  passenger side, I instinctively tried the door handle
  and discovered that it was unlocked. "Hey," I
  announced to the technician, "it's open!" To which he
  replied, "I know - I already got that side." This was
  at the Ford dealership in Canton, Mississippi!

  Nope, no need to go back to Wisconsin. The Woodlands is Wisconsin, but without the winters or the relatives. And there is not any JWs here who know us, at least not that we will run into.

  Back in April I asked for advice from all of you about Texas. Well, we hopped a plane and checked out The Woodlands, north of Houston. We loved it! Our son and family came first and they loved it. We went back and sold our houses and now here we are! We really like it here. It is hot and humid but the heat in Phoenix makes your skin feel like it is frying. It is never cloudy and you get to hate all the constant sunshine. We find this much more tolerable. The Woodlands is fantastic. So thanks to all of you who gave me such good advice!

  toughest question anyone can ask, if the love of your life, and mate/wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend messed around on you, whether it be once or for years, how would you handle it and what would you do, think about it slowly and carefully.. wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.. it's said that 50 % of marriages are affected by an affair, it's probaly alot higher.. did you notice any affairs in your congregation ???.

  Do you understand why your wife had the affair and what affect it has had on her? Do you know how she feels about herself as a result? Sometimes understanding that changes how it affects you.

  In my own case, the reason went way back to my early childhood, it was not just about my husband. It was a void my parents created and my husband could not fill it, although he did add to it. Perhaps there is a bigger picture there that you need to look at. Maybe it was not about you.
