We have investigated real estate in many areas in Texas, and yes they can drill for oil next to your property in many areas, but not in the Woodlands. I do not know where you got your information, but it is not from a documented source. That is not the reason for the dense forest either. Just because someone says it, doesn't make it so. We have read the restrictions. And the real estate prices are no higher than anywhere else of that same quality. We are not rich people and we are not stupid.

What is wrong with my cat?

to make it worse, he is white and has very long hair!!!!.

usually when a cat spends that kind of time in the litter box it is because of a urinary infection. The cat is unable to empty the bladder completely and stays in the litter box hoping to relieve itself.
If the cat is drinking a lot and peeing a lot, have him checked for diabetes. Cats get it a lot more than you think.
Any time a pet changes behavior, your should be concerned.

What you discribe is so common. Many food allergies and intolerances are helped a lot with digestive enzymes. In my research to find something to help my little grandson, I came across a number of articles that said that children with any autism spectrum disorder often have digestion issues, which seems to go undiagnosed.(the articles cited 80%) It has to do with the pancreatic enzymes and the lack of them causes incomplete digestion of particular foods and that causes toxins that enter the blood stream and go to the brain. It also causes a lack of nutrients, especially minerals.
I purchased Pancreatin at the health food store and my little grandson started taking it twice per day. We have seen substantial improvement all the way around with him. As time goes on, he gets better and better. He is much more outgoing, happy, interactive. He also takes a multi vitamin/multi mineral supplement, that he now is able to absorb.

Well it is over. We settled on an offer of $15,500 above the asking price, waived the appraisal and we pay no costs. We had three offers on the table that were equal but this one seemed more stable. So we make $118,500 on a house we had 4 years and we paid cash for it to start with. Kind of makes up for the money we lost in the 401K thanks to the Bush economy.
It was hard to choose between the offers, thought of asking for their first born to see how far they would go but then what would I do with the kid.
So now we work on getting the packing done and moving plans. After our car got stolen again a few weeks ago, I really really want to get away from Phoenix. the crime and air polution are horrible. And then there is the summer heat to look forward to.
And life goes on.............

KLS
The Woodlands is dense forest and reminds me a lot of Wisconsin, only without the winters. When we were there recently, we really did not want to leave. When you live in Wisconsin for 50+ years it is really hard to adjust to Arizona. Everything seems dead when you are used to trees and grass. The trees they have here are skimpy things with thorns. I want the kind of trees squirrels live in.
It is all the California people who are making a lot of money there in real estate and then they come here and pay cash. Not one of our offers came from people who were not investors. The housing goes way up while wages are going down. It is all going to crash.

We listed our house at a little more than $100,000 above what we paid for it 4 years ago when we built it. 20 minutes after it went online with MLS we had a full price offer site unseen. 30 minutes later we had an offer for $9000 over list price, waiving the appraisal, site unseen. Within 24 hours we had 5 offers and only one of them had come to see the house. No time to put up a sign. We are now nogatiating with the two best offers. I wonder why I busted my butt for two weeks getting the house all ready when no one comes to see it. Our son will make $150,000 on the house he has had for 2 years. People are just nuts. the average person does not have a chance in this market.
We are moving to The Woodlands, TX and the market is normal there.

My 7 year old grandson has been diagnosed with Asperger's. He is very smart but school has been difficult. Here in Phoenix AZ the school system is not very good.(In fact it stinks) Even though he was diagnosed, and the school had him in a regular class where he did not belong and they knew he was very stressed ( he would spent much time under his desk) and other kids picked on him and when he retaliated they kicked him out of school. That was illegal. They told his parents to have him committed to a mental institution. There are a lot of stupid people out there in positions that affect other people's lives.
Our family is moving to Texas in June and the area we chose has top notch schools. Children like my grandson do just fine when they are schooled properly. They blossom when they have the right environment. You have to keep stupid people away from them.
