  Maybe think about the fact that Jesus is depicted as celebrating Hanukah. The Temple lights filled the night.

  Jesus being present at events was because he went where the crowds were. Where every he was present it was to teach and to establish greater realities.

  And in regard to the Passover in how it changed from the original night down to the night Jesus had it last with his disciples is not relevant to the topic of Christmas and the claim that it is memorializing the birth of Jesus.

  For Jesus' followers there was no need to have another Passover meal in the manner in which it had been done up until that night. He was now the Passover Lamb and the observances of that from that point on (until he comes again) would be about the proclaiming his death (as the Passover Lamb) by eating and drinking of the bread and wine. (his body and blood)

  The one thing the Israelites and the whole human race was waiting for, the coming of the savior of the world.
  Don't you dare try to memoralize that !!!

  Yes, they were waiting for that, and he came. And it would have been a great time to rejoice on his arrival/being born. But his being born was not what saves, it is his death that does. He had to be born in order to be alive to be put to death. Jesus put the emphasis on memorializing his death not his birth.

  Is there anything in the Bible of Joseph and Mary celebrating Jesus' birth yearly?

  How many things in your life do you practice that are not specifically commanded in the Bible?
  In other words, do you place the same restrictions on yourself that you place on others?

  Do you even know what you are talking about. We are not talking about ourselves or others. We are talking about Jesus and ourselves. If the Bible is the word of God and he had it written for us to come to know him, etc. through the Bible, then the restrictions (as you call them) would be determined by what is or not written in the Bible.

  Let me ask you this...do you celebrate Halloween? If not, why?

  Rejoicing, being happy over the birth of a child is fine, normal, and expected. That happens on the actual day of the child's birth and then maybe for some days afterward from friends and family that could not be there on the day of birth.

  The reason you have to ask 'is there any date that would be acceptable to memorialize the day Jesus was born' is because you don't know the date from the Bible. If Jesus wanted his birth memorialize year after year, he would have made the date know and made it known to do so. But he didn't do either. Any attempt to pick a date and to claim to celebrate the anniversary of his birth on that date is completely from people in the world wanting to do so. And even with that claim they do so with Santa (Satan), etc.

  Why is it important to you for you to need a direct command "in the way that Paul states to keep observing his death, until he arrives" regarding Christmas?

  LOL!!!!!!

  First off, what you are saying, and I am asking has nothing to do with JWs, nor wedding anniversaries. And for the record, I do not celebrate christmas or wedding anniversaries.

  And I take it that you are unable to cite ANY Scripturally support to observe Jesus' birth like there is in regard to his death.

  The reason it would be important to have such a direct command is because if it was something that Jesus wanted his followers to do then he would have made it clear to them to do so the way he did in regard to his death.

  It is 'the people of the world' that came up with 'christmas', not Jesus. If that is the case, then are those that celebrate 'christmas' following Jesus or 'the world'?

  So, you think these Shepards were living/sleeping out in the fields during wintertime? Luke 2:8

  Where is the Scripture equivalent that you can cite to support for Christians to keep observing Jesus' birth, in the way that Paul states to keep observing his death, until he arrives?

  Oh, my goodness...can you read or comprehend what you read...I did not ask you to tell me what holiday is coming up in a couple of weeks, my question was for you to cite ANY Scriptures that support his birth taking place when you claim it does, on Dec 25th.

  If I said he died in March or April, I could show Scripturally that it shows he died on Nisan 14 (Jewish calendar). Exodus 12:6; Luke 22:14-20

  If I said Christians are to keep observing his death until he arrives, I also could show you that Scripturally. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

  So, now I am asking you to show me Scripturally where it shows he was born on Dec 25 (Kislev/Tevet Jewish calendar) and where are Christians told to keep observing his birth?

  You at least attempt to use Scriptures in regard to being the 'Creator' or not. Can you cite any Scriptures that would show that this so-called birthday is in a few weeks from now?
