Now the world seems to be on the verge of a great conventional war, if not World War III.

YES, keep that in mind.

As already stated, I believe the GT to be seven years in length, unless the days have been cut short.

You believe? What does the Bible say? It says it is 42-months long. And it is never cut short in the way of ending before it was supposed to. It is cut short in that it was given a specific appointed time to occur.

[19 Woe to the pregnant women and those nursing a baby in those days! 20 Keep praying that your flight may not occur in wintertime nor on the Sabbath day; 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.]

[23 Woe to the pregnant women and those nursing a baby in those days! For there will be great distress on the land and wrath against this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled.]

Luke shows that the GT is the time Jerusalem will be trampled for the appointed times which John shows to be 42-months. That is the same time period that the 8th king has authority.

If you believe the GT is 7 years (84 months), where do you get the addition 3 1/2 years (42-months) that you believe is part of the GT, other than the 42-months I have shown?

Another interesting prophecy soon to be fulfilled is this one: "Then the kings of the earth, the officials and the generals, the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in caves and in the rocks of the mountains" (Rev. 6:15 CEB).

That will not be fulfilled until AFTER the GT/42-months. Those wanting to hide themselves are not doing so due to the 'pangs of distress', nor are they doing so because of the GT, they are wanting to hide because the signs they are then seeing occurring in the Sun, Moon, and Stars. This occurs AFTER the GT and indicates Jesus' coming (Armageddon), the great day of wrath. They are hiding because they know they are about to become bird food.

I believe, In the abyss = inactive. Out of the abyss = active.

Exactly. The comparison is not between sea and abyss but instead abyss and death-stroke.

When the beast receives the death-stroke is when it 'is not', when it gets healed is when it 'ascends out of the abyss'.

In both cases it should be noted that it is AFTER the coming out of the abyss/death-stroke being healed that that is the time people are said to worship/admire the beast and that none of those who do so are written in the book of life.

[ 8 The wild beast that you saw was, but is not, and yet is about to ascend out of the abyss, and it is to go off into destruction. And when they see how the wild beast was, but is not, and yet will be present, those who dwell on the earth will wonder admiringly, but their names have not been written upon the scroll of life from the founding of the world.]

[3 And I saw one of its heads as though slaughtered to death, but its death-stroke got healed, and all the earth followed the wild beast with admiration. 8 And all those who dwell on the earth will worship it; the name of not one of them stands written in the scroll of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered, from the founding of the world.]

It is AFTER the death-stroke is healed/ascends from the abyss that the beast is given its 42-month authority. That is the time of GT, the hour of test/judgment to refuse to support/worship/take the mark of the beast.

[ 5 It was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and it was given authority to act for 42 months. 7 It was permitted to wage war with the holy ones and conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. 10 If anyone is meant for captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone will kill with the sword, he must be killed with the sword. This is where it calls for endurance and faith on the part of the holy ones.]

[ 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled on by the nations until the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled.]

Here it is stated that after the 1260 days, a beast will arise from the abyss and destroy the two witnesses.

Doesn't say that the beast will arise from the abyss after the 1,260 days it says the beast that ascends from the abyss is the one who will kill them when they have finished their witnessing, which is of course after the 1,260 days. But again, that does not mean the beast comes out of the abyss at that time, it already came out at the beginning of the 1,260 days corresponding to the death stroke being healed.

Seals 2-4 = death-stroke on beast 7th head/king

The healing of the death-stroke is when it becomes the 8th king for 42-months.

The 42-month period is the GT, it is the hour of judgment from God. The test is do you refuse the 'mark' in support of God's kingdom or do you take the 'mark' in support of Satan's false kingdom. Those that take the 'mark' (goats) will undergo everlasting cut off after the 42-months when Jesus comes at Armageddon. Those that refuse the 'mark' (sheep) will be who make up the great crowd and inherit God's kingdom. (Some from among those will rule with Jesus for the 1,000 years.) Revelation 14:9-12;15:2;7:9,10,13-17;20:4;19:20,21

The 42-months that the 8th king rules corresponds to the holy city being trampled and the two-witnesses.

That time takes place during the 6th trumpet/2nd woe.

didn't know the best subject area to put this question under....i was listening to a discussion on youtube the other day while working, so not getting every point ....part of what was talked about was the word jehovah, ( not being the most accurate translation of yhwh ) was however pushed by illuminati /secret societies for its use in magic.

(as i informed, i wasn't getting the whole conversion as i also had attention elsewhere and some of the conversation was hard to follow.

) so i am wondering if anyone on here has more information on the subject they care to share.

revelation 21:2 i also saw the holy city, new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.. hebrews 11:10 for he (abraham) was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is god.. revelation 21:24 and the nations will walk by means of its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.. revelation 22:1 and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of god and of the lamb 2 down the middle of its main street (of the holy city).

Has it occurred to anyone that they were never the “faithful slave” to begin with?
It isn’t much of a stretch to go from “they had it once, but lost it” to “they ~~probably~~ never had it”.

That is exactly the case. EIE was spot on bringing up 1919. They claim they were appointed in that year but everything they teach to arrive at that year is a LIE. (607>1914>1918/19)

In regard to Matthew 24:45-47, verse 45 is merely asking the question of ‘who is’, and verse 46 goes on to state that ‘the slave’ that is found doing so, ‘on the master’s arrival’, ‘is who’ at that time be found to be ‘faithful’ and appointed over the master’s belongings.

In other words, ‘the slave’ is just a ‘slave’ prior to the master’s arrival and it is up to the master upon his arrival to determine what slave/s are ‘faithful’ or not. It is not up to the slave/s themselves to determine their own faithfulness.

According to the following scriptures. (Matthew 25:14,19,21,23,26-27 Luke 19:13,15,17,22-23) it can be seen, the master summoned ‘SLAVES’, not faithful ones, nor wicked ones, just ‘SLAVES’. But it is on the master’s arrival that he then determines which of those ‘SLAVES’ were faithful or wicked. The point being is that it is presumptuous for the ‘slave/s’ to consider/call themselves ‘faithful’ presently, when that is something that is for the master to determine/say when he arrives. In fact to the contrary ‘the slaves’ when calling themselves anything, the master himself said what is found at Luke 17:10…

John does distinguish between. The beast thrown into the lake with the false prophet is the beast from the sea. This takes place right after the waging of war against the one seated on the horse. The scarlet beast is just said to go off into destruction. That corresponds to the time being thrown into the fiery lake.
