  Flat Earth and Jw. Not possible?

  sorry for my poor english, i hope to make not too many mistakes.

  im a jw and in the last three years i have studied a lot the topic of the earth being flat.

  i have a good scientific background so im not stupid or crazy.

  As I posted - Isaiah 40:22 - earth is round (hhug/circle/sphere/H2329).

  Job 26:10 - the terminator is a circle.(another form of the same Hebrew word).

  Job 26:10

  (LEB) He has described a circle on the face of the water between light and darkness.

  Circle here is H2328 which is simply another form of H2329/hhug/chuwg.

      Now, are any of you up to scientific reasoning as to why all of these wind circlings go north and south but not all go west and east?

  i always get curious when someone posts an article from the wt.

  so i end up going there to look around at the whole article and find other things that are curiouser and couriouser.. certainly, god’s thinking is superior to that of today’s world.

  living by his thoughts will bring us the greatest happiness and success.

  Jesus' faithful slave does NOT control our thinking/mind/heart/soul.

  All faithful Jehovah's Witnesses obey the greatest commandment in the Bible at Matthew 22:37-40.

  We don't love Jehovah with someone else's (elders, etc.) heart/soul/conscience.

  We love Jehovah with all OUR heart.

  And this is the best heart/mind control - which us peace lovers enjoy:

  As Gandhi realized, Jesus taught love and peace - in fact - to even love our enemies - Matthew 5:44.

  This is one reason Jehovah's Witnesses do not go to war (see Isaiah 2:2-4).

  To have the love Jesus taught in our hearts is a very good thing - quite contrary to religions which are part of this world and allow their members to go to war (see John 18:36).

  Bit of a rant - WT twisting Jesus’ words, (to whom shall we go/ where should we go), etc.

  in wt, november 2018 study edition, the wt/ gb again plant the idea about never leaving the religion when they change jesus’ words, as ray franz pointed out in his book, “crisis of consience”, from: “lord, whom shall we go away to?” to, “where else could we go?

  ?” - as though teachings of decency and love toward others should be found in them only, and in their special places, and not in a person’s own home, or school, or charitable organization, or having hearts filled with love and graciousness, and empathy, compassion.. toward others.... .

  they take an ideology (the bible and jehovah) and then make decrees (and commands and doctrines of men) and then bind up heavy loads.... they become pharisees, measuring the tenth of the dill and the mint and the cumin.... and hmm, something else.... ?.

  I guess you all have never studied our book on Acts ("Bearing Witness).This is one of the many times Jesus' faithful slave has encouraged us to apply Acts 17:11 so as to know what we are being taught is from Jehovah, not originating with men.

  I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we believe the earth is a sphere.

  Isaiah 40:22 uses the Hebrew word hhug/chugh which means circle in two dimensions and sphere in 3 dimensions.

  Job 26:7,10 not only shows the earth is hung upon nothing in empty space, but also that the terminator (division of light and darkness) is a circle - which could only be true if the earth was a sphere!
