No that is your problem for you do not exactly or precisely what year Jerusalem whether it was 586 or 587 BCE whereas WT has identified the exact year as 607 BCE and that is the very stark difference.

I admire your tenaciousness scholar, but fear that your religion will eventually pull the rug out from under you on this.
I don't have an iron in this fire and don't care when Jerusalem fell.
I'm just speaking as a long time observer of your religion. This is what they've done to every other scholarly minded apologist.
Who would have thought they would have reduced the majority of study books over the last 50 years to nearly the status of fiction?

by dozy infor those who haven't come across furuli before , he is a 77 year old norwegian professor and is ( or was ) one of the few "scholarly" jws used by the society and used as a source on various matters ( especially 607 bce ).. however recently he has fallen out with the gb and has published an interesting book - like many recent scholarly apologists , he seems to be going down the road of disagreeing with the authority of the gb but still holding that the jws is the one true religion.
kind of "lions led by donkeys".
whether this view will continue is anyones guess.

Looks like SARS Cov-1 evolved into SARS Cov 2 all on its own...
SARS-CoV-2 probably arose in the same fashion.
Viruses are incapable of reproducing on their own. Instead they take over the internal mechanisms of a host cell.
It's roughly analogous to a tank bursting through the walls of an automotive factory and forcing the workers to produce tanks instead of cars. The copies of the original tank then go on to attack other factories.
Sometimes two or more closely related viruses will attack the same cell at the same time and the result is a fusion between the two. --A chimera with an affinity for other species too.
In this case, the other species is unfortunately, us.

I see the old boy is still pushing the untenable position that there are, "...no legitimate uses of blood" despite the fact that it's incompatible with JW policy, which distinguishes various uses of blood based on whether it has, "..left the body" or not.
