  has anyone seen the show "crossing over" with john edwards?

  i was a complete skeptic of such things but this show is something else.

  i am convinced that this guy is the real deal.

  I had a discussion with my friend who turned me on to the show. We wondered if what he is doing would be wrong morally. I thought so because he is lying to peoples faces. His point was that Edwards appears to making people feel better about dealing with death so whats the harm?

  sorry guys i have more question to which i never could get a real answer.. what is the true motivation for most witnesses to preach?

  is it to save others because they really feel bad for nonwitnesses or do they preach because it is required to get into paradise?

  I felt obligated to do it. How many times were we beaten with "Go therefore and make disciples"? I think it was part of a large mural or picture in the KH. This was a direct command from JC, the only way to be a true Christian, blah, blah, blah. I mean, he died for you, the least you could do would be your 5+ hours a month right?

  When the guilt waned the fear would take charge: you will DIE at ARMAGEDDON if you dont go out in service. Oh, and God loves you.

  Thanks dung, that was the article I needed. I am still wondering how he gets some of the specific information however. If they use enough people to pull this off evertually they will make a big mistake. They are playing with the rawest of human emotions.

  I would like to read that expose because I am very curious. I know people don't want to believe that he is legit and I dont really either. He does say things to people that are very interesting, not the kind of stuff that people talk about in line. If he is a fake he has one hell of an information network rivaling the C.I.A.

  If so he is extremely brilliant. I have watched quite often to figure out how he is doing it and can't concieve of any possible way that it could be a ruse. I am assuming that the people in the studio are not actors.

  by "religious experience" i mean a moment, an incident, where you felt that god was directly addressing you thru a public talk, a watchtower article.

  did god give you a "sign" that convicted you of the truth of "the truth"?.

  At times when doing something JW related I would feel what I would describe as "Holy Spirit". It was a very powerful conformation for me. In fact, feeling what I percieved as Holy Spirit was the single most powerful force that told me I was in the truth.

  After being out for several years I realized many other people in other faiths have described the exact feeling as I had. JW logic would dismiss this with "angel of light" crap, but they were just as powerfully moved as I was. Hmmm...so if this feeling is not only reserved for JW's then something is askew...
