  There may be an all-powerful, all-knowing god who cares about humans and what's going on down here... I don't know.
  
  One thing I *do* know if there *is* a god: I have not a single clue of what's on his mind... especially when innocent children are allowed to suffer. Maybe one day I'll figure it out. Wouldn't it be cool if that instant of understanding came the millisecond following my death?

  on september 8, 1963 my sister, carmen elizabeth was born.. she was, and would remain the only girl in our family.

  she was so adorable, brown haired, brown eyed and had a great smile.

  she was less than a year younger than i, and we were like the 'best of pals' as kids.. she'd allow me to put beans in her ears, or get her to put peas in her nose or carrots on top of her teeth, and make me laugh.. she was born in cape breton, nova scotia.

  Basketball got a black eye...

  holy crow..this professional nba basketball game between the detroit pistons/indiana pacers sure got wild.. i wouldn't have wanted to have my kids their in the stands.

  sheesh.... the big melee in detroit was just sooooooooo..upsetting for a basketball fan like myself.this fracas was as ugly as it gets.

  now, let me get into how the uprising began.

  I saw it and you actually have to put 99% of WHY the fight started on the fans. Artest had just had his faced pushed by Wallace. He turned and walked away - upset, but controlled and walked away. He goes over to the bench and is prone when a fan runs up and throws, cup and all a beer right on his chest/neck/face - Artest snaps and goes after him.
  
  Then more fans and more players.
  
  Time to put glass between the fans and players.

  my advice to anyone that is thinking of leaving the "organization" is to make friends (real friends) with people other than jehovah's witnesses.

  the sad truth is that jws are only conditional "friends".

  they will drop you like a hot potato if they think you want to leave.

  Wish Me Luck

  today i visit the hospital for my pre-operative check up.

  if i'm found to be fit and healthy once more, then i will be admitted back into wsm general in 2 weeks time to get reconnected.. which will mean goodbye to the bag and hello to my a**!

  just in time for christmas.. it's something to with be able to withstand anasthesea.

  Didn't the guy investigating Clinton put a woman in jail for two years for not puking up junk on Clinton? I can't recall all the details as you can see, but that seemed like a straight abuse of power.
