Elderly and sick: Out of sight, out of mind

someone else posted something a similar experience, this is one i had regarding my mom.my mom died last year.

she had been in failing health for years, but the last 2 year were pretty rough for her, with lots of visits to the hospital.

the last 4 months, it was the hospital, a skilled nursing facility/rehab unit, and finally, a nursing home.

Such is life! I do think of the verse in Job 14:1 “ Man,born of woman, is short-lived and filled with trouble. So many of us have experienced similar outcomes in our short lives.

So sorry to hear of your loss, it’s such an empty lonely feeling to lose our dear loved ones. Somehow mothers are especially wonderful people. They loved and cared for us when we were young and it seemed they were always there until they are gone.

I lost my dearest mother a year ago today. She was the best and I miss her a lot, but I want to be there for her when she returns. Even those in the congregation sometimes don’t know what to say or do, I guess because we are all so busy and weighed down with every day concerns. Yes it is common to turn up at one’s funeral but not always keeping in touch on a more regular basis.

So looking forward to this evil system ending and finally getting on with the real life that Paul spoke of. Stay strong and all the best to you my friend wherever you are.

time to give us your vote for lloyd's fall from grace this month.. december 6th he was at 406. as of today, january 3rd, he's at 388. that is exactly, on the dot, where he was january 3rd of last year!

he's lost all gains from his begging videos and reminders and tin cup waving and etc.. so, fire up the shrooms and let us know where you think flab boy will be on february 2nd.

Elena Many thousands of people who have taken these vaccinations have sadly ended up with many adverse health outcomes. And blood clots have been a very common result of this clearly novel, experimental rollout. Why did the GB push them? The answer although not 100% clear to me yet does raise some disturbing thoughts.

With all the ultra processed junk food in the supermarkets these days no wonder the majority of peoples health is fast declining. I roll my eyes when I see the garbage that people fill their trolleys with, but then they actually consume it. I work with another tradesman regularly and every day he must have his coke, seems it’s about all he drinks.

Such a chronic health epidemic in the world and the sheeple don’t get the connection.

growing up as a jw in the 1960s and 1970s, a common refrain from the yearbook, local elders and circuit overseers was how jws were protected at meetings, conventions, and in the field service by "the angels".

experiences of "divine intervention" during service, ww2, in communist lands, and conventions were common.

the internet and google are regularly debunking this myth in the 21st century.

We had an experience some months back when 2 sisters were out in field service.

Driving in a semi - rural area a tree suddenly came crashing down and crushed their car as they were driving along. They were killed! If they had been driving just a little slower or faster they would still be alive today. Just another example of the precarious nature of our day to day lives!
