Mister Biggs, I never noticed that! LOL!! See, I keep my eyes on 'em ... all the time....
That poor You Know! From now on, I'll be much nicer to him...I had no idea...
a sister that studied with me once told me that if you look in the halls, you will see some of the most best looking people on earth.
she said that sisters are far prettier than worldly people because they keep themselves so 'pure' and brothers were much manlier because they knew how to 'protect women and take the lead'.
i dont know about that!

when i was in dub-dom....i used to hate eating out....my ex always made us bow our heads and close our eyes tight shut while he gave thanks out loud.
did you do that in public??
or did you do it discreetly with your head bowed but eyes not shut....or.....head in hand...hoping people would think u were in deep thought?
Heh...we must've been a pretty weak family, we never prayed at restaurants!
On a similiar topic...it always irked me to no end, the kind of Witnesses that wanted everyone to know they were jw's.
Once, I went out with a bunch of sisters to a kareoke dance club. Everyone sipped on ice tea while a few of us rebel sisters had some real drinks. The dj was fine and kept checking me out all night.. he came up to the sister next to me and tried to get her to introduce us. "Oh we're not here to meet guys," she replied. "We are a group of Jehovah's Witnesses...we like to go out together for the fine association." The guy smiled politely and walked away.. I crawled under my table until it was time to leave. There went all chances of me having a remotely interesting night....
Can they ever just mingle as normal people? Must they always announce their Bible bouncer status??
i've spent a lot of time on allmusic.com and it amazes me how much nirvana is mentioned when the reviewers rate other albums.
so its a no brainer that nirvana's work should probably have a place in every rock collection, but what are some other albums every rock fan should listen to if not own.
.
I like Korn and Linkin Park... there is one group that I absolutely love, dont know if anyone here knows them.. Prodigy? You cant sit still listening to them!
Of course, anything from the Cure is great too...

Woah! You gotta love the girlfriend for saving his life, though. I can imagine her holding that over his head... 'where would you be if it werent for me????!!!!'

Ewww...that ministerial was in my congregation too! He would sit behind me, breathing real hard. He even asked me out a few times, he wanted me to come over and play scrabble with him and his parents! ugh..the memories...
coming home from work yesterday and i got a call from angharad, "dylan has hurt his arm and won't move it".. damn, i hate calls like that.
total inability to do anything other than say 'i'm on my way, i'll be there soon'.. i had all sorts of images of him with a broken arm, collar bone or something for the 10 minutes it took to get home.
and when i did, there he was looking very miserable and sorry for himself.
Ugh..Simon, I feel for you. What a heart-wrenching experience.
I remember when my little boy was about 2..he was running and tripped, smashed the side of his head and came running to me with blood dripping down the side of his face. I rushed him to the emergency room in my pj's and after the nurse cleaned him off she showed me his cut, about 1/4 inch gash in his ear. She chuckled and said something about 'new moms' but I was shaking the whole time.
Later, telling my sister about it, who has 4 kids, she replied, 'girl, you're crazy! By the time you get to your fourth you just spit on it, wipe away the dirt and send em off again!'
LOL!
Glad to hear your son is okay!
there have been many sages who walked the face of the earth.
the wisest man who ever lived, however, is jesus christ.
jesus made an impact on history that very few men have matched.
Woah! Cool! They're finally teaching about Jesus now? I rarely heard of him when I was growing up a jw....
this is really dumb but i'm gonna ask it anyway.
well, i am in a bi-racial relationship.
my husband is white and i am black.
My sister is white and married to a black man. They have 4 kids... nice names but pretty common like Michael, Christopher..
I dont think race matters... just pick names that you both agree on. There is a black family that lives next door ..big family, 7+ kids, and most of the end with -ah. Shenequa, Leshonta, DeShawna... IMO, I would steer clear from that route.
I guess white names would be simple names? like johnny, jack, tom, steve.
There was a really cool website I came across once, (lost it, damn Quick Restore!) and it had thousands of very exotic and unique names. Do a search on kids names.. tell us what you think!
Got any favorites so far?
heres some scens from alaska... .
hope you enjoy them, though the pictures dont do the beauty of this state any justice at all.
these two, is where i spent most of my time, drinking at the bar on gm's mastercard account .
Ugh, Zev, I feel like a heel. I didnt see that post! I spent some time offline recently...
The offer still stands! Of course, you might like it in the summer, but I assure you, it ain't that great in the winter!
