Adult College Students - Take a Bow!
by zenpunk ini notice that there are many of us here who were discouraged from going to college/university in our younger years, courtesy of the watchtower society.
i would just like to say "congrats" to those who, in spite of the indoctrination and the fact that they've had to attend college later while holding down jobs and paying their own way, have attended college and received degrees!.
when i left high school i went right into pioneering as college was not an option in the witness world.

Your stories have all been very encouraging to me. I went to college a few years ago and am going to go back in Sept. I love teaching kids and am considering even getting a degree in another field. It is a little intimidating to go back..but I am really looking forward to it.

[luke 10:7.23] and remain in the same house, eating and drinking what they provide,for the laborer deserves his wages; do not go from house to house.
if the apostles didn't do it and jesus said not to, why do the jws do it en masse?

Wow...that doesnt surprise me in the least...sounds very jw-typical. Not that every jw is like that... but some tend to think they are better than others.
By the way, did she have grey hair, kinda curly, skinny and tall? Could be my mother.....

I saw a sister in service yesterday by my house, there was no answer and she fell head first in the neighbors bushes. I felt bad for her.....for a second.

A perfect evening,,almost
by TruckerGB inwhen i got home from work this evening,had tea,looked at the tv guide and decided there was nothing worth watching,i thought,'i know as the suns shining i will go for a run on my motorbike'.. off i went,found some interesting country roads and was really enjoying myself,when i rumbled round a corner and guess what,the local farmer had just brought his cows in and we know what they leave all over the road!..
the bike now looks like a farmyard,i smell like a farmyard and had to have a hosepipe turned on me and the water was cold,.
next time,im going out in the rain!.
