  So many lives have been so negatively affected by that literature, especially the ones for children. I guess some of our wishes do come true. That makes me very happy.

  NWT from Greek/Hebrew into other languages?

  does jw org claim to have translated the nwt into other languages from greek/hebrew?

  because if they did claim that they would have to have biblical scholars in biblical greek/hebrew from every language, that would be a ton of ppl!

  and take a lot of time!.

  Why do you keep asking so many questions about the JW teachings here? They have their own website, they have their own literature and they are more than happy to answer any question about their teachings that you ask.

  I gave up with reasoning doctrine and their teachings long before I left. The first doubt I had was when I was about 8 or 9 years old over the 1975 nonsense, but I was more interested in finding a way to get away with playing whatever I found cool at that time.

  What made me leave has nothing to do with what they teach. I am born in, and I grew up seeing through their hypocrisy and not believing or applying what the JWs I knew used to preach. To me it was about how full of shit most JWs around me were, and still are.

  I was never really interested in anything JW. It was something imposed on me since I was born, and I never cared for any of it.

  Do They Still do Door-to-Door as Much as Before?

  since the advent of the trolleys do the majority of jws still go door to door like we used to?.

  do they still have meetings for field service on sat mornings and sun afternoons where most head off to the local territory while one or two go to do trolley work or has the importance of door to door work reduced?.

  with the reduction of printing wts and awakes what will they offer at the doors?.

  my family hasnt signed the blood paper but still say no blood (well the adults do).i overheard a elder taking to my aunt about the blood papaers she needs to fill out.but he also aid she needs a make a small little letter saying i wont take blood.some times i wish i never heard that talk.. even tho i knew i would have to stand up for me being hable to have life.now i just zone out and think will i die for something thats a lie?.

  im going to try not to think about it for a little my head hurts after this..

  Well, for now, my best guess is that you are young and healthy, so no need to worry about that (stay healthy, though). As for the rest, remember that you are not responsible for any harmful actions and decision of the adults that surround you make for themselves, even if they can still make decisions for you, it is not your obligation to be the adult.

  Will they drink the Kool Aid?

  as you know the question regarding the “kool aid” is related to the tragic events at guyana and jim jones.

  blind obedience and faith in this man resulted in a massive loss of lives.. sometimes we see the same pattern of blind obedience to the watchtower from the witnesses.

  this could be on major items or small details.

  Looking at their compliance and their waste of three and half hours of their day, makes me wonder:

  How much of the “kool aid” are they willing to drink?

  I couldn't tell for sure, but my guess is that you can expect the same reaction than the people in Guyana. It's the exact same effect, only that they are not being requested to kill themselves (yet).

  Recent JW Literature Trolley Experience

  the j ws have set up a literature trolley in one of our local shopping centers.

  since the goodwill thrift store at the center has an excellent selection of second hand books, i stop by twice a month and buy a book or two that catches my interest.

  as a result i've become friendly with the j ws who mind the trolley.. usually the minders are two 70 something j w ladies.

  I also thought it interesting that now not even a quadriplegic JW can escape Watchtower service.
  

  Worst treatment for a human being.

  One of the latest videos is horrid. It parades out a woman born with major birth defects (limbs/spine) to guilt trip people into doing more.

  i have opened thesite to relate this part of my day.. yes the jw are such happy people.

  yeah right... my wife has come home after an extended sunday meeting in a foul mood.

  to be around her is like feeling your way through barbed wire.

  Hello, zeb. In my family there were arguments and raging rants when we weren't in the KH at home, on our way to the KH, and on our way back from the KH. If my mother wasn't picking up a fight with my father, or my father wasn't ranting about the other elders, there were plenty of excuses for them always being bitter, angry and violent.

  Yes, I know well that JWs are not really happy people.
