  Barred from entering kh

  a friend of mine called last night we will call him tom.

  he is df now for 2 yrs for associating with a a df person non relative.

  anyway he arrived at the meeting this week and was informed by 3 elders that he was no longer welcomed at the hall.apparently he was caught greeting someone in the parking lot after meeting.

  Thanks for sharing about that. Actually, I'm not sure how legal that is since KHs are supposed to be public places and he's not violating any law.

  i saw this on facebook: "i would like to thank the lord i am ok. had a serious fall yesterday from my garage landing to the cement floor and landed on my back.

  i suffered a closed head wound, severe cervical sprain, 2 broken ribs and multiple contusions on hand and arm and shoulder.

  could have been a lot worse.".

  It just gets me when people who have accidents and are injured are thankful to God that it wasn't worse.
  

  I agree. However, as silly as it sounds, that's how some people get comfort and let the anxiety go. If it works for them, for as long as they don't try to shove that mentality down other people's throats, I'm ok with them.

  Using their own rationale, I am thankful that I know better.

  last memorial i found an invite on my door for the memorial.

  on it was quoted, "truly i tell you, you will be with me in paradise".

  in growing up that phrase was a big deal because the discussion was where the comma was placed.

  yes i will send in my name and when i get to paradise i can tell those that are resurrected, you see that planet there my name is up there.i know it's hard to believe but our buddy adam didn't have a clue what was out there,the poor guy didn't realize there was a large village two miles down the road.. ok maybe i won't make it to paradise but a guy can dream crazy thoughts.....but seriously you can send your name to mars..

  If WT are cutting back on mags will they also cut back on Bethelites?

  i was thinking after hearing about the agm cutbacks to the mags and other website content surely they will end up dismissing more bethelites?

  i would have thought in the old days, before the web, an artist or writer at bethel would have been a full time job making content for four 32 page mags a month.

  now what are these guys going to do?.
