After all, Christians won't blow up people & buildings or behead anyone who makes a cartoon of Jesus.
Ah, the beautiful blanket of denial. Dream on.
whenever a hollywood actress has been propositioned or touched up, we know all about it.. but a story - mostly suppressed by the mainstream media - is emerging of far worse abuse of human females.. telford appears to have a grooming/sex abuse scandal of its own to rival the ones in rochdale, oxford and other uk towns.. it appears the msm, police and politicians and other authorities are very slow in learning their lesson from rochdale.. unbelievable that this case hasn't made the guardian or the bbc.. i guess the sisterhood thinks hollywood women are much more important than telford girls.

just seen this on: http://toronto.citynews.ca/video/2018/03/14/online-obit-hijacked-by-religious-propaganda-family/.
a jw doing their "witnessing" has resulted in the daughter of the deceased going to the news outlets in canada.
obviously wt have been quick to respond and back up their loyal fellow worshipper throw their drone follower under the proverbial bus as can be seen by their official statement:.
I'm not surprised. They do that all the time. The funeral home is just a different location. I feel bad for the loved ones of their deceased.
happy st. paddy's day.. that being said, life is a bag of shit.. so please give me some sort of positivity in this post.. i wish i could get it from whom i would like it from, but that is a bullshit dream.. life sucks then you die!.

No. Life is great. That's all you're going to get from me.
just thinking out loud here.
i drive a lot of miles for my job in the st. louis, missouri area.
digital billboards popping up.
I think most people wouldn't pay much attention to it all. Might be worth a punt but I'm not convinced.
I think people outside the WT couldn't care less, which means, the billboards will be catering specifically people who have interest in the WT, who may or may not pass by them and read it for a few seconds.
And then the message written has to speak to them, and it's a well known fact that many people join the WT (and everything else for that matter) join for many different reasons. What exactly will it have to say? Additionally, there are many JWs who can't even articulate some of their teachings, leave alone use what they read outside about it. So the billboard may have to:
Doesn't sound to me like a venture worthy of time and money.

Thoughts?
I don't need to preach and save anyone from anything. I can't care less what the WT does or say, what they preach, none of that. Those are the reasons why I left. Why on Earth would I want to continue my relationship with them?
Use the time and money in catching up with your retirement.
i am not a jw, but know a jw family.
seem very loving and happy.
i have come to know the religion and have researched via this site, youtube, reddit etc.
As a non jw this is just so sad to read. please share your thoughts.
It is sad indeed, but it's still their choice.
have you read this book?
not sure if i should purchase this book?
it might help ex jws more than never a jw.
I wrote it
i just read the "atheists book of bible stories" by fred titanich, and i rather enjoyed it.
alot indeed.
do you have any suggestions for books that touches the same subject?
"The End of Faith" and "Letter to a Christian Nation" by Sam Harris. Great reads in the same line of books.
i was sat in the assembly hall yesterday, wondering how many pimo ones like me there was there.
or even if they don't know ttatt still don't believe it for whatever reason.. i think there must be more of (us) there than we all realise.
i mean, brothers reaching out is at an all time low, information via the internet is at an all time high and the preaching work has now become a motionless, speechless babysitting of a book shelf advertising a website as someone here pointed out!.
I don’t know...my husband gets up frequently, leaves the building even, BUT is a true WT believer. He probably listens to about an hour combined of the assembly day and I think that’s precisely why he hasn’t woken up.
That you know of.
just had 2 jw's from my local kh ring my doorbell and then put the invitation through my letterbox.
absolutely no desire to talk to local jw's who know me, so i declined to answer the door.. on the subject of the invite, the very first sentence deceptively says - "on the night before he died, jesus told his followers to commemorate his death.
he said, keep doing this in remembrance of me.".
Absolutely no desire to talk to local JW's who know me, so I declined to answer the door.
Interesting that what I suggested in your part one didn't seem to be a welcome thought, yet that's exactly what you did.
Go figure.
