I see it from the doctors perspective. People have that thing done once (or maybe once every so many years), whereas the doctor has to put his finger in who knows how many anuses before going back home to have dinner with his family in a given day.

Doctors visit for postrate
by smiddy inmy friend related to me that when he went for a check up at the doctors he was advised to get his prostate checked at first he baulked at that prospect thinking no man is going to put his finger up where the sun dont shine,.
his doctor reasoned with him that it is better for him to find out if something is wrong early because it can be dealt with a good chance of recovery however leave it too late and it can be fatal.. my friend being convinced agrees to the examination .. doctor : drop your dacks get up on the examination table and assume the position where i can examine you.. my friend : turns his head round to the doctor and asks doc why are you using two fingers ?.
the doctor replies ,i want to get a second opinion ..

Is Jehovah God guilty of the Sin of Omission ?
by smiddy inin genesis ch.1&2 god warns adam that if he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and bad he would die .theire was nothing said about anything else.. you would expect humans would just die of old age like adam and eve did.. the wages of sin is death the bible tells us .so if he disobeyed jehovah god he knew he would die .. what he never knew and neither did any other human to come after him was just how many ways death would come to humans.. death by creatures that were created by god venomous creatures ,snakes spiders etc.,marine creatures sharks etc., bacteria /viruses etc.,insect carrying diseases such as the mosquito that causes thousands of deaths to children under 5 years old even today with malaria.,wild animals etc,.leprosy that even existed under theocratic rule in the nation of israel.. then their is the indignties humans go through in old age ,loss of bodily functions , mental capacity ,alzheimers ,neurological diseases that effect young and old.that reduce people to almost live not much better than a vegetable .
natural disasters not to be excluded because these are in the control of god to afflict mankind or not.. the list of afflictions that humans have to suffer through before they die , from a loving god just boggles my mind.. and i have only scratched the surface of indignities humans have faced before they die.. so i ask the question is god jehovah guilty of the sin of omission ?
or did he act out of vengeance for their disobedience and wanted to inflict greater punishment upon them.for disobeying him.. what are your thoughts ?.

So I ask the question is GOD Jehovah guilty of the sin of omission ? Or did he act out of vengeance for their disobedience and wanted to inflict greater punishment upon them.for disobeying him.
What are your thoughts ?
It's all based on faulty logic, simplistic interpretations and explanations, and in events that never happened. There was never a talking snake, never an Adam, never some tree, never some sin, never a Jehovah, hence, a Jehovah that never existed cannot be guilty of any sin, which BTW, that sin thing is also made up.

"Look what you made me do to you"
by Zoos inthis line used by abusive spouses and governing bodies who mandate shunning:.
look what you made me do to you...".
it's got a bit of a history (according to the bible).

As I have shared before, when you look at the behavior of the Bible "Jehovah" you get a person with behavior typical of the most severe personality disorders that humans have to be treated for. We get Roger from American Dad

Follow up: the baby did not survive
by Captain Schmideo2 init was always a long shot anyway.
but, after a week of emotional pain for the mom, and extreme physical pain for a helpless infant, the baby's body finally succumbed.. all those prayers from the parents, from family, from friends, were absolutely worthless.
that is a deity for ya!

I don't know the background story, but I'm sorry for your loss. A lot of things don't make sense, and in times like this is when many ill-intended people and organizations try to entice you to buy into their false hopes and answers.
I hope you find comfort in whatever healthy way you find. The WT's Jehovah is not the only source of that nonsense, so please pay attention to all other sources of false comfort and caring.

Joachim Boldt - Two More Retractions for WT's bloodless "expert"
by OrphanCrow infrom retraction watch:.
when you have 94 retractions, what's two more?.
attention joachim boldt: the 1990s are calling, and they want their papers back.the annals of thoracic surgery has retracted two papers from the early 1990s on which boldt was the first author – bringing the retraction tally for the disgraced german anesthesiologist to 96, by our count.

Thanks for sharing this. What I find interesting is that the WT in fact does have a point in terms of not using, replacing and/or minimizing the use of blood in medical treatment, but they do it for their own selfish purposes and reasons.
In medicine there are issues with using blood for certain purposes and now they are using other methods when possible, but not because of the WT. Their reasons are:
- Money of course is the number one reason. The cost of getting, treating, processing, maintaining, transporting, delivering and administering blood is way higher than alternatives, not to mention tracing and tracking transfusion-related adverse events and incidents, both infectious and non-infectious, that affect blood donors and recipients.
- Technology and advances in medicine. There are new technologies, products and procedures that can be used instead of administering blood (directly or by derivatives) for certain treatments, reducing the risk of post-transfusion reactions, and/or contaminated blood.
- Low supply/high demand. Blood banks always have to deal with the issue of having enough blood. It is in the best interest of medicine to have alternatives.
The WT wants to take credit for the medical field making advances in finding alternatives to blood transfusions, when the reality is that it's just a common interest that they have with the WT, only the WT uses that to their advantage and to claim that they are in fact influencing medicine (which is laughable).

PUT YOUR THINKING CAPS ON...AGAIN! (Zeb's thread regarding 1914)
by redpilltwice in23 days ago, zeb posted this familiar but ever intriguing thread regarding 1914, the mother of all topics.. put youir [sic] thinking caps on.zeb 23 days ago this was sent to me from doug shields blog.
for those who like stats and numbers may find this of interest.1914 – recognizing the ”the elephant in the room”.
the problem with the date ”1914 ad” lays with the two calendars that are involved – jewish and gregorian.

Or...would this even be in conflict with worldly sources who all argue against WT's year 607 bce?
Wordly sources? Professional historians, people who have university degrees, research education and strong experience in the area of both theology, archaeology and world history get totally dismissed by the WT as "wordly sources", and the WT expect people to believe their non evidence-based crap about the year 607. There's my answer.

Shunning - Are Mothers Most Fanatical?
by Lostandfound inon many posts by those with experience of df or da shunning, it look to me that the most fanatical observers of the shunning practise are mothers, and when a person approached parents about their own doubts or intentions, approaching the mother the most daunting prospect .
odd that visiting warwick leaflet has a picture of a meeting of some sort with a room comprising men only, given the subordinate role given to women, one might think they would be more liberal over shunning close ones, but not so.. what drives this, is it grabbing an opportunity to be more visible by their loyalty, or low level of education of a lot of dubs so that the sisters blindly accept direction or authority.
i might have expected some kick back against the shunning practise by sisters giving evidence to their independence of thought.. our real thinkers here will be able to explain this fanaticism of loyalty better.

Lostandfound, I think that this piece of your post is key to what I believe happens with women in general. They are conditioned to be submissive, to have no voice, to be obedient, to never make decisions, to make suggestions only at best. They develop a strong dependence on their men in their households, and in the guidance of men in their congregation.
Any fool, with the lowest IQ, any jackass with the stupidest decision making process (or none at all), has more saying in a given situation than any woman with any set of leadership skills, simply for being a woman. Think about the mental toll that it has to take for them to be conditioned to living under those circumstances, and for years, day after day, made believe that their only place and the only purpose of existing is to be in that position in relationship with men, in this life and in the new order forever and ever.
Of course, when something finally comes across that challenges that mentality and those believes that have made them miss so much, place them in a secondary role in life, and discourage them from independence and having the lives that they deep down know well they can have, they will react strongly, hence the strong push back.

What will happen to those living in paradise earth?
Magic Jehovah is going to stop that from happening, the same way he has been so able to stop hunger, and suffering and all the crap they say he can do. They use their Jehovah as a gimmick to fix everything and explain everything that they can't explain.
Going on and on and on explaining what the bible says and doesn't can keep going on and on ad-nauseam. None of that is going to matter. Like nevermind pointed, trying to show the errors and faulty logic is useless. Unlike nevermind, however, I have been more successful in addressing their feelings, going directly to their reasons to defend all the nonsense that they chose to believe. That has given me a lot more success (or ended the conversation when they are not prepared to go to the root of their attitude).

What is it like at Warwick Bethel?
by nevermind infrom reading about people's first and second hand experiences about working at wt world headquarters back in the 70s and 80s era, the hypocrisy and lovelessness caused many bethelites to quit even before their term ended, some even leaving to never again return to a kingdom hall.
that, coupled with open access back then at bethel to the literature of watchtower's early days can easily open the eyes of any rank and file jw to the society's occultish beginnings.
fast forward to the warwick bethel today.

The WT has a real estate business. They have been taking measures to financially survive for some time now. They have changed their model and they no longer rely on house to house preaching and distributing printed literature. The exact same thing is going to happen once they find that the model they use in Warwick no longer serves their purpose, they will shamelessly make changes and will go int he direction that will continue giving money. They just do not care about their people, so it doesn't matter if people get left wondering or without answers. They will move in the direction where the money goes.
