That's some bad use of Photoshop.

Anybody here like to dabble on the roulette wheel ?
by smiddy3 ini came to the conclusion a long time ago that many jehovah`s witnesses are very superstitious in my opinion.. if after leaving the jw`s or even sometime before leaving the jw`s you may have been tempted to use the pokie`s /slots or the lotto , or even the roulette wheel at a casino .
now did you know that if you add up all the numbers on a roulette wheel it adds up to 666 .?.
now i have no problem myself playing lotto ,keno ,scratchies ,etc, however ,would i ever play the roulette wheel ever again ?.

Like everything else, have fun, but don't let it get out of control.
I have played at casinos, but it's not my thing. Every now and then I try my luck with the Lotto or the Power Ball, but so far no luck. I have much better odds at getting randomly selected at the airport, though.

Good read. Suggestion, keep an open mind, judges the material in the book by yourself.

God seems to have alot of failures?
by purrpurr infor an all powerful, all knowing god it seems most of his plans go awry, so why assume that armageddon/ new system will work?

God seems to have alot of failures?
I agree. The worst part of the way today religions interpret God is this perfect being that can do nothing wrong, yet somehow everything is according to their own rationale.

When You Die Would You Haunt The Governing Body? If It were Possible?
by Brokeback Watchtower ini've been reading a lot about reincarnation these days and i'm beginning to think that it quite possibly might be true, it seems to fit in nicely with the idea that we live in a computer simulation.. anyway according to the tibetan book of the dead when we die we seem to hang around on the earth waiting for rebirth.
at which time we could be ghosts.

When You Die Would You Haunt The Governing Body? If It were Possible?
Isn't the idea of becoming ex-JWs freeing yourself from them, now, alive, wanting nothing to do with them, you know, getting a life instead of continuing wanting to know everything about them?

What Is The Most Ridiculous Thing You Have Heard From A Witness?
by minimus ini remember an elder questioning a woman who had admitted to giving and receiving oral sex from her unbelieving mate.
he asked her the most intimate questions which clearly flustered her.
interestingly, she “confessed “ to the elders because her conscience bothered her.

I've shared quite a few things that are off-the-wall. One that got a lot of attention was this CO who mentioned that two sisters became lesbians because they decided to watch Mexican novelas together.
Also, I remember an elder who visited to give a talk, who mentioned that a brother was preaching in a dangerous area, and somebody shot him, but angels protected him and the bullet bounced from his head.
Then there was what I consider one of the worse narcissistic personality disorder I've ever met in person. This elder said that he is Jehovah during a talk.
This other elder trained himself to eat leaves because he was convinced that leaves were the only thing left during the great tribulation (He had 13 children; to me that's the real origin of the idea of eating leaves).
Another elder loved to tell a rather diverse wealth of stories involving demons attacking JWs for being loyal. One that I remember (I was 7, and it was so inappropriate for me to be exposed to that kind of information at that age). was about a loyal JW woman who was always being attacked by demons because her husband wasn't and he was attracting them. He said that one night the demons were rubbing and licking her breasts, and touching her lady parts.

If they made 14400k symbolic how many jws would start to claim to be anointed?
by purrpurr insince there's debate here about wether the literal interpretation of the 14400k could be changed to symbolic, i was thinking such an announcement would allow for any jw to claim to be going to heaven... in which case i wonder how many jws would suddenly claim to have "been called"?.
i can think of many arrogant holier than thou types who would be jumping on that bandwagon immediately!

I posted a while back that the rate of anointed happens to coincide with the rate of crazy people in USA.

What if God never changed the languages
by pleaseresearch inwe have the account of god changing our languages and thus we all separated all over the world.. i wonder how different, maybe even peaceful if god didn't do that.. looking at the story now it seems pathetic that he needed to do this to stop men wanting to reach the heavens to take a sneaky peek at him.
we've been much further than mankind back then could have ever imagined and god isn't visible.. but yeah how different would history have been if this account never happened..
